hello there welcome back if you are new please consider subscribing my name is yachi and I make educational videos for Beauty Professionals in training and for anyone who likes to continue learning in today's video we will be doing a quick review over the cranial Bones the 14 bones of the face muscles of the face muscles of the neck muscles that attach the arm to the body and muscles of the shoulder and arms if you're an esthetician remember we are most concerned with these areas so let's get started the cranial bones are occipital it's one bone forms the lower half of the cranium next we have parial two bone bones forms the sides and top of the cranium next frontal one bone forms the forehead next temporal two bones forms the sides of the head below the parial next ethmoid one bone forms part of the nasal cavities between the eye sockets next sphenoid one bone joins together all the bones of the [Music] cranium now let's go over the 14 bones of the phase we are going to start with nasal two bones forms the bridge of the nose next LOL two bones forms the eye sockets next the inferior nasal Concha two bones located on the outer walls of the nasal depression next maxil two bones forms the complete upper jaw next mandible one bone forms the lower Jawbone [Music] next we have the Palatine two bones forms the floor and the outer wall of the nose roof of the mouth and the floor of the orbits next zygomatic two bones forms the cheekbones and last we have vulmer one bone forms part of the division of the nose now let's go over the muscles of the phas frontalis the scalp muscle that raises the eyebrows draws the scalp forward and causes wrinkles on the forehead next cugate ERS draw the eyebrows down and in causing frowning and wrinkles the forehead vertically next orbicularis oculi is the ring muscle of the is Socket it closes the eyes next procerus lowers the eyebrows and causes wrinkles across the bridge of the nose nasales is the two-part muscle that covers the nose and include the transverse part and the AAR part which flares the nostrils we are still discussing muscles of the face next we have buxin nator is the thin flat muscle of the cheek between the upper upper and lower jaw that compresses the cheeks and expels air between the lips as in when blowing a whistle next we have triangularis is the muscle extending alongside the chin that pulls down the corners of the mouth next mentalis is the muscle that elevates the lower lip and races and wrinkles the skin of the chin next we have orbicularis orus is the flat band around the upper and lower lips that compresses contracts puckers and wrinkles the lips levator anguli ores is the muscle associated with smiling hanging there we are almost done with muscles of the face let's keep going next we have the rorius it is the muscle that draws the corners of the mouth out and back when grinning next we have the levator leii superioris it is a muscle associated with lifting the wings of the nose and upper lip and the last one on this list is the zygomaticus major and minor our muscles extending from the zygomatic bone to the angle of the mouth that elevates the lip as in laughing muscles of the neck platisa is a broad muscle extending from the chest and shoulder muscle to the side of the chin it is responsible for lowering the lower jaw and lip next we have sternal Clyo mastoid it is the muscle extending along the side of the neck from the ear to the collar bone it acts to rotate the head from side to side and up and [Music] down now let's review muscles that attach the arm to the body latissimus dorsai is a large flat triangular muscle that covers the lower back pectoralis major and pectoralis minor are muscles of the chest that assist The Swinging movement of the arm muscles of the shoulder and arm trapas muscle covers the back of the neck shoulders and upper and metal region of the back shrugs shoulder and stabilizes the scapula next we have biceps this muscle produce the Contour of the front and inner side of the upper arms they lift the forearm Flex the elbow and turn the Palm outward next deltoid it is a large triangular muscle covering the shoulder joint that allows the arm to extend outward and to be the side of the body triceps is a large muscle that covers the entire back of the upper arm and extends the forearm that is it for this quick short review thank you for watching and thank you for your continued support if you found the information helpful don't forget to give it a like and share with a classmate or anyone who you may think will appreciate the information as always don't forget to keep going keep growing and I'll see you guys on the next one bye guys [Music]
