I'm about to show you how to create Facebook ugc ads that scale completely using AI my name is Caleb Cruz or some of you may know me as Mr PA social on Tik Tok I've spent over $150 million on meta ads since 2013 I can tell you that this method is absolutely going to change the game for this video I'm going to walk you through how I would create an ad for my ads course I'll walk you through the creative research process spying on competitors writing a script with AI generating AI ugc actors putting it all together and then my launch strategy and testing framework for testing these creatives within ad accounts I'll even give you a little preview of a bulk ad creation tool that I've put together in this video I'm giving it all away we've got a lot to cover so let's dig into it all right so first we're going to pop over here to forplay.com [Music] I'm able to do use Discovery where I can search for a specific keyword so I can type in Facebook ads course just see what comes up and you can see some of the notable people here you've got Chase Chapel um you know there's a handful of others in here also selling courses but I usually start here get an idea of what's running in network um some creatives that are doing well um take a look at some of the ad copy Frameworks that are working well for other folks this type of research can also be helpful for assessing people's funnel strategies people's sales Pages all this good stuff you can get a lot of really good Insider information on how other people are running from end to end the next tool I like to use is Facebook ads Library so here it's a completely free tool which is my favorite part um but you can go in and you can select all ads here and search for specific pages so if I know a very specific competitor someone else running a Facebook ads course in the space I can search for them here we saw Chase Chapel in the forplay.com and you can see his page pulling up right here and now we can take a look at all the creatives that he's running on Facebook what both foreplay and the Facebook ads Library don't do is show you the engagement that's happening on the ads you don't see the likes shares comments so for that I like to actually go to Instagram and Facebook I like to actually go into Facebook go into Instagram and scroll until I see an ad that is in the niche that I'm looking for once I find an ad I will click on the down funnel event meaning signing up for the program or whatever not actually purchasing it and so what that does is it tells Facebook that you are someone that's actively looking for this product or service and you're going to start getting more of those ads in your feed what that's really good at doing is showing you ads that are one active currently in market and two you can actually read through the comments see what kind of engagements on there you can even reverse engineer to understand how many views a video might have gotten in feed to really get a better better understanding of if you're basing some of your assumptions on an ad that's actually doing well versus one that just looks good because it's you know in some of these spy tools starting a group on school is the fastest way to start an online business just check this out here's an ad from alexos school month the guys who started it and won Theo so again by clicking on these landing pages I'm telling the Facebook algorithm that I'm interested in this product or service and it's going to keep continuing to put more of those types of services in my ads feed you can continue to do this honestly it's very fast to do um the metap pixel is instant meaning that it's going to cater your ads really right away once you do this once or twice you'll start seeing non-stop ads for this type of product service all right so now we're at the stage where we're going to generate some ad copy for this we're going to go to a custom GPT that I built specifically for writing ugc scripts the custom GPT is called ugc vide script generator DM page social um I've got went ahead and answered these questions it asked me it asked me about the product or service I'm advertising the target audience the dream outcome social proof or testimonials I already have ease of use and the speed of the results so I filled out all this information and then now it's writing an entire viral video script including the scenes and video shots that I need for the for the video so scene one hook energetic opening stop wasting money on Facebook ads that don't convert want to scale your business like a pro without burning cash I've got the answer then it goes on to build credibility ease of use fast results call to action urgency value this is great so now I'm going to take this consolidate it into a solid script and we're going to throw it into a company called Arc ads. to generate the ugc actors all right so now we're going to go to Arch ads. to generate a AI ugc actor to read our script you don't have an account you can log in um or sign up I already have an account so I'm going to hit log in now I'm going to create a new video clicking on this button paste in my script here and then now I can select any of over 150 to 200 AI actors they're always adding new AI actors to this tool and you can very easily hover over them to get a preview of what their voice sounds like here's an example hey you welcome to Arad I'm one of hey you welcome to AR cads hey you welcome to AR cads they also recently added the tags feature here which allows you to very easily find people that might fit the vibe that you're going for there are defin itely some of these AI avatars that have a better end result in terms of how it moves how the voice will work with the mouth all this good stuff so it really is a little bit of trial and error to find the right one and just kind of previewing a couple but the cool thing is once you find some that you like it's very easy to just hard it save it for later so that you can quickly come back and reuse the same actors again one of the coolest things about this tool is it has a vast diverse group of ugc creators where you you can almost always find somebody that's going to be representative of your target audience I went ahead and selected a bunch of AI actors and the cool thing is before you actually generate the videos you can preview how this script will sound being read by any of these AI actors so I'm going to go ahead and click on a couple of these stop wasting money on Facebook ads that don't convert that sounded pretty good um I'm really happy with the script how it sounded so I'm going to go ahead and just preview a couple more of these make sure that I like the way it sounds is being read by let's just say five of these AI actors and then Facebook ads that don't convert what's really cool with this is you can you can really start to understand like how some of these AI actors will say it completely differently like this one stop wasting money on Facebook ads that don't convert it's pretty like mellow pretty chill but then you compare that to this one stop wasting money on Facebook ads that don't convert it's much more urgent much more intense um so it's really good to just get a feel for how these AI actors are actually going to read your script and then you can make the decision to go ahead and X Out the ones that you don't want to use I found six here that I really am feeling good about so I'm going to go ahead and generate the videos all right now I've got some of my AI actors ready to preview and I'm going to start throwing them into my editing tool for this I'm going to be using cap cut first thing we're going to do is drop one of our AI avatars into the timeline and the first thing I do here is just go through and cut out any awkward pauses cuz when you're viewing one of these AI videos the one of the biggest tells is when someone says something and then there's this like and then you go this so we're going to cut those out this is actually really easy to do by just zooming in and seeing where are these gaps in talking and then just really easily cutting them out this is the same process I do for editing a lot of my Tik Tok videos I like to have my videos be really fast really short and not have a lot of gaps between phrases right here is a perfect example of what I'm talking about and something you would want to have cut out of your video campaign you don't have to see how there was that weird Gap there that weird pause where it's just like uh I'm just staring at the screen we want to get rid of that think of this is like carving a turkey you know you're cutting out the best pieces of the meat I've got this video all trimmed down it's reads pretty smoothly it feels pretty organic pretty real so I'm G to save this as one of my video ads without any editing or anything because sometimes I like to test just the raw AI ugc videos and see how they perform before I do a bunch of editing another thing that we can do with these AI actors is actually drag in the other AI actors into the timeline and cut this up to where a different person is saying a different section of of the script let me show you what that looks like okay so I haven't done the full video but this will give you a good idea of how this can kind of fall together stop wasting money on Facebook ads you can put this all together you can make a really compelling multi- ugc AI actor video and then pick and choose the best sections of the script that each AI actor is saying the best another editing technique that you can use that works really well with these AI actors is turning them into green screen videos this is super easy to do within cap cut so you just select your video pop up to head over to cutout and click on auto cutout this is going to automatically remove the background from your video so now you can see this AI actor no longer has a background on him I can take him I can shrink him down put him in the bottom right corner and then I can put whatever I want as an overlay or I guess as a background behind him and then boom we've got an AI Avatar that I can have talk in front of my landing page okay so I went ahead and did an edit of this a AI ugc actor and I think it turned out pretty cool I added a couple uh cuts a couple b-roll things a couple uh green screen effects and then I threw some background audio on it let's take a look how it looks stop wasting money on Facebook ads that don't convert want to scale your business like a pro without burning cash ugc actors now I'm going to show you how I actually would build a campaign like this in Facebook so now we can go back to the ad copy generator from the Mr Page social ad copy generator GPT that I put together and then choose a couple of these ad Frameworks to use for our actual ad C copy that will sit above the ad unit so I'll just read through a couple of these choose my favorites throw them into like a Google doc or even just copy them straight out of here and then we can put the ads together in meta before I actually build these out in Facebook I want to break down a little bit of my creative testing framework with you I've drawn this out in something called figma but essentially all this is is we've got a creative testing campaign that houses multiple ad sets within it that each test a different creative style so here you you can have one for your branded Production videos your ugc videos your ugly ads your Statics and we can just pretend that we have one here that is also for AI ugc within each unit you have up to I would say typically three to six ad units that are pretty different from each other so in this instance we're going to test the six different AI ugc actors that we exported from Arc ads so each one will be a different ugc AI actor so we're going to have six AI actor videos in each one of those AI actor videos is going to have five variations of AD copy within it okay so to actually build these ads out I like to start this in a Excel template that I've put together or I guess this is a Google sheet template that I've put together that just helps me stay organized with my naming conventions and be a little bit more planned out this is what that looks like uh if you want you know a copy of this just let me know in the comments and then there's a series of formulas here that put everything together for you in a really concise way so I'm going to show you the manual way that I go about setting up these campaigns in my meta account first and then I'll show you my more automated system of doing this for me all right so for this we're going to create a brand new campaign that's going to house all of our creative testing for this we're going to select the sales objective it's typically what I always recommend for people unless you're running a lead objective campaign where you're just trying to get maybe emails or things like that but I would never use awareness traffic engagement those are all going to be be pretty low quality traffic sources for you unless all you're trying to do is get people to visit your site and not actually purchase anything so going to select sales we're not going to do Advantage Plus shopping on this one advantage plus is typically used for top performing at creative that I will consolidate into an Advantage Plus shopping campaign so for this we're going to hit manual setup and then pop over to our Google sheet where we've got all of our name and conventions paste in the name and Convention for this campaign we're not going to select uh catalog ads or Advantage Plus budget because this is a manual testing campaign select website here for the conversion event I've got my Mr Page social pixel selected and now I'm going to select my purchase event for the big cap I'm going to leave it completely blank because we're doing creative testing I don't want to limit the algorithm to finding which creative is going to do best for the budget here I typically do $ 20 to $50 per day to start uh depending on whatever your CPA is so if it costs me you know this is for a high ticket course sale so it's probably a fairly High CPA in this scenario like probably a few hundred but if you have a lower cost product I tend to try and aim for a budget that would get you 50 conversions within a 7-Day period to get you out of that learning phase so you know let's pretend that it cost us $10 per course sign up basically you're going to take $10 multiply that times 7.1 to get you your total daily spend 7.1 * 10 around $70 a day is what you would need to spend in that scenario but for right now I'm just going to put this at a $50 budget and we're going to probably let it run for a long time and then I'm selecting all placements United States Advantage Plus audience all that good stuff copy the ad set name over from our build sheet and then go to the ad level so here do same thing copy the ad name paste it in then we're going to select the Mr Page social Instagram and Facebook page single image or video is what we're going to do here the flexible ads are a new unit it basically replacing the dynamic creative optimization where you can throw all of your creative assets into one ad unit and then Facebook will automatically combine them all and deliver them to whoever they want I haven't really loved the flexible ad unit for Creative testing specifically because you don't actually get the breakdowns of which images or videos are actually getting the majority of spend it's very black box and you just get an aggregate of the total flexible ad unit now we're going to upload our media upload the video since my ad name is the same as the video name all I had to do is search for it in my computer video uploads select full length of the video I usually just keep these all original so that they look good on wherever they're serving whether that's Facebook feed Instagram feed stories reals all that good stuff hit next and then the Creative Advantage Plus here I tend to enable as many as possible um I have seen some weird things happen with Advantage Plus so if you're sensitive to your creative looking potentially weird don't select the Advantage Plus creative options but if you trust the system to you know basically deliver the best version of these ads then I would leave it selected all right now we're going to copy paste our primary text so primary text one in button allows us to select primary text two primary text three text four primary text five so now we've got all of our text loed in and then we're going to do we just did three headlines for this one the nice thing is we are only going to need to copy and paste these uh text variations once because every single ad or every single video in this specific ad set is going to share the same five variations of AD copy call the action we're going to do sign up since we want them to sign up for the course website URL paste that in Mr Page social Academy my.com it will be our display link and then copy and paste over our URL parameters these URL parameters are what allow us to track back ad performance within our backend system so whether that's Google analytics or um you have your own database that pulls all this information into or even just Google Sheets in this scenario all these parameters will flow through teachable and I'll be able to see what ads drove sales all right so now it's a matter of duplicating each ad and then going through the same process changing out the ad name and then scrolling down swapping out the video so we're going to upload the next video and then we'll do the same thing for the next three so as you can tell like this process of uploading videos selecting everything one at a time it's a little it's a little timec consuming which is why I have a much faster tool that I'm going to show with you or I'm going to share it with you right after we get these uploaded manually [Music] so now we've got all six of these AI ugc video ads loaded into the ad account so now all we have to do is Click review and publish now I'm going to pop over to a tool that I've been building with an air table that allows you to do all of this with the click of a button the first step in this Auto Facebook build process is getting the assets actually into the ad accounts so rather than one by one throwing the videos into ads manager or trying to wait for the mall to upload you can actually have this done automatically in the background so I built this out in make.com which basically looks for that Google drive folder that I was showing you earlier um for all of my assets uploads them into the corresponding ad accounts and then exports all the IDS associated with those creatives into an air table database that allows me to build ads with them so now I'm going to run this you can actually see this in action you can see that it's automatically pulling the files from Google Drive getting the Google Drive URL uploading them to Facebook creating the thumbnail throwing that into the Dropbox to be hosted and then throwing that into the air table database and we can see when we pop over to air table we can see that these creatives are starting to show up in this table at the bottom Air table is a lot like Google Sheets so this is essentially the same basic structure of that Google sheet I was showing you earlier but it's much more intense set of formulas there's set columns that won't break so you don't have formulas that break all your naming conventions are set up for you it's all selection so I can just select the pixel I want the Facebook pages I want uh select the ad creatives Etc and it really saves a ton of time for the build process and keeps everything really organized so the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to copy those uh pieces of AD copy into this post text field and paste in the headlines that we were using here's where it gets kind of cool so within this tool I can say how many ads I want per ad set so ads per ad set I know I have six creatives so we're going to do six ads and it will create the rows for me what that means is this is just going to duplicate each row six times to give me six total ads since each row is its own ad now all I have to do is go back to this uploaded creative tab copy these names go over to the creative paste them in so now all I have to do is run this script and you can see the status on these ads being changed to to done without us having to actually build them out manually in Facebook the tool even provides a link where you can click on it and view the ad right in Facebook we covered a lot in this video we went over how to look at your competitors do competitive research how to decide on what ads you want to run writing scripts writing ad copy using custom gpts building out AI ugc actors using Arc ads. putting it all together and editing it using cap cut and then building the ads manually versus building ads using an automated tool from airtable andm make.com I've dropped links to all of these resources in the description below as well as a
