Mouse Comparison: AJ199 vs. Damo Shark

at this price point I don't think the ajs has any competition [Music] [Music] engages aj199 and deemed it to be a really good Mouse but it has its issues can the Damo shark be its successor we're gonna have a look at both mice sparing no details to see which one is worth your money both mice on the surface seem comparable same 3395 sensor both Wireless both claim 60 grams both use USBC unlike the Jeep Pro and both currently cost 38 that's where the similarities stop the Dharma shark packaging feels a lot nicer the cardboard is a lot thicker and the foam inside is nice thick not to mention they gave us some extra goodies inside the Dharma shark is actually a lot larger than the ajs the size difference is probably what let them use a far larger battery making the Dharma shark have an 83 hour battery life in comparison to the HS is 40. personally I prefer the shape of the a jazz which leads me a little disappointed because I'd prefer to have the additional battery life of the Dharma shop the ajs is more suited for people with claw grip or smaller hands if you have larger hands or you like to hold your mouse like you're about to eat on it the Dharma shark will definitely be a lot better size for you the AHS has more of a ledge on the side of the mouse which makes it easier to hold on to when you're lifting it off your mouse pad the Dharma shark on the other hand has none of this going on in fact sometimes when I lift off the mouse pad it slightly falls out of my hand so I need to grip onto it quite tightly though it looks like they foresaw this and actually gave us a little bit of a solution in the Box they included some grip tape that you put on the side of the mouse which will increase the friction making it a little bit easier to hold on to they gave us grip tape for the back the sides and the mouse buttons on the mouse this increases the friction kind of mitigating the issue aside from that the diamond shark has more of a curve on its Mouse one and two buttons in comparison to the AHS I feel like this was an after fourth fix to try and mitigate the fact that they knew that this was kind of a heart to hold onto Mouse both mice feel of very great quality arguably the diamond shock is slightly nicer because of the coating I just sort of like it a little bit more until you click it its back button it's sort of unbalanced and soft and mushy feeling it's a shame because when you compare it to the rest of the mouse everything else feels very tactile I feel like this must be some sort of balancing issue the ajaz users who are no switches or however you pronounce them they're rated for 80 million clicks the diamond shark uses TTC switches which have a 60 million click rating on both of these mice I believe that the battery will become an issue way before the switch is do so both are fantastic because obviously the last thing you'd want to do is throw out a mouse because it's not doing the clicky anymore the HS is a really nice wire it's flexible and comfortable and I can easily just use the mouse in its wired mode unfortunately I can't quite say the same about the Dharma shark yes it's braided it's a somewhat nice cable it probably will last longer than the age as wire just because of the way that it's made and it doesn't seem to fray at all but it does have memory which fights the mouse making it somewhat hard to use in its wired mode it's kind of funny actually because it feels like Ajax actually knew about the darmo shark and to compensate for its smaller battery they decided to give you a really good wire to just use it as a Wired Mouse they also gave us a dongle extender just in case your mouse is on the other end of the room the one thing that I love about the Damo shark over the age as is that you can forget about software AJ's Mouse has been reported to have acceleration on by default and you can't disable this unless you go into the software but the Dharma shark has no such tomfoolery you can actually adjust every setting on the mouse by default with the buttons on the bottom of the mouse the button on the left indicates DPI and there's actually a light there that shows you which DPI setting it's on and the one on the right shows you the pulling rate if you don't want to use the software you don't have to at all despite all the silliness both of these mice are absolutely great there is one feature in this that we didn't mention because obviously it's not really a gaming feature but it's very good if you have a Mac the Dharma shark supports Bluetooth and the ajaz does not so if you have a laptop with very few ports the Bluetooth can come in really handy but either one is a very solid recommendation and it just comes down to whether you want to have a smaller mouse or a larger one and if you'd like to get any one of those mices there is a link in the description using our AliExpress referral link and a video should be popping up on your screen right now if you want to watch any more of our content
