Panchayati Raj System (Rural Areas)

Village Level

  • Governing Body: Gram Sabha
    • Members: People aged 18 or above
    • Elected Representatives: Gram Panchayat and Sarpanch (5-year term)

Block Level

  • Governing Body: Panchayat Samiti
    • Officer: Block Development Officer

District Level
