entrepreneur a software engineer and an ex junk removal business owner I started a junk removal business as a stepping stone to return to my passion of technology and apps I invite you guys to stick back and forth we're doing the dance with Google and Apple getting rejected get fixing all the little things it's a normal dance we're doing that dance right now should be in the App Store any day but you got to get approved for beta we're only letting in 100 people the first month and then some more the next month and then some more the next month so I posted a video how I would do everything if tell you there is physically no way to lose is physically the right word I don't know it would be impossible for you guys to lose if you do what I'm about to tell you I want to try to make a checklist for you guys that you guys can check off or if I don't have that checklist in time please just go make a checklist that you did all these things and once you do it for 90 days come back to this video and 3 months let me know how you're doing the biggest problem it seems that everybody has it's a question I get constantly is Andrew how do I get more leads or there's a problem with Google ads and I can't get Google ads to work and this video we're going to not talk about Google ads we're going to talk about how you can succeed without Google ads and the foundational work that you need to do first and I give you guys this 90-day challenge it's hard because it takes a lot of work and you have to actually do stuff but like any business it's going to be tough in the beginning it's going to be really tough and if you are not a master of internet and digital marketing and you're not a social media Guru and you don't know how to run ads you either can you pay to play get somebody to do it for you or you get your ass out there and get to work and build that foundation and then you have a little bit of money to hire somebody who knows how to do their Google ads or can help you with social media but in all honesty if you're not busy as with jobs just learn this [ __ ] all right guys there's nine prerequisites that we're going to go over right now that I want you to have done before you do this 90day challenge I talk about this in the previous video what I would do if I'd start over in this video here but you guys need to have your Facebook profile already you need to pimp out your Facebook profile look at mine here look at Matt and JoJo's here the cover image the cover header you need to be in front of your truck family photo team photo just you doesn't matter make it look legit your profile photo right here that's should be of your face not your logo people want to see human they want to see who they're hiring it could be a family photo it could be you and your wife be in your business shirts talking about your personal Facebook do the same with your business Facebook page too but you're going to be using your personal Facebook page in this challenge also make sure you join 20 Facebook groups I'm not going to have you spamming inside of them don't worry but I need you to find some local groups in your city buy sell trade g sell real estate groups just local communities Facebook's got hundreds of groups in your city I promise you order 500 yard signs and if you can't afford 500 yard signs start with 100 first I'll have a link in my description below you can order from U marketing they are the cheapest with shipping I've compared it to Dirt Cheap Signs and a couple others at the end when you get to the checkout page U marketing always ends up being the cheapest by a few bucks so definitely use U marketing I have my link below start with 100 branded and 100 unbranded branded is with your logo your company number unbranded is going to be with a call tracking number using call rail or my software and no logo just say junk removal also you guys want to get those little brown paper bags get a hundred of those you can buy like go to the party store go to Amazon you get like a 100 of those for like 20 bucks okay get a whole bunch of party bags the dollar store or whatever and get a whole bunch of candy you probably get 10 bucks of candy enough to fill up all 100 bags of candy get your marketing promo materials that you're going to put in there I prefer you have a call tracking number on the business card the pamphlets the Flyers you can order another 250 business cards for $20 from Vista Print whatever marketing promo materials you put in there it's ideal if you have a call tracking number the same call tracking number on all of the promo material that you're going to hand out whether it's a a pricing sheet whether it's the pamphlet whether it's maybe it's just a business card it doesn't matter call rails 50 bucks a month you get five tracking numbers included I think every tracking number after it's two bucks my software will be ready later I mean beta's open but you might not be able to get into my Beta in time but I do have call tracking as well apply for the beta autopilot app.io make sure your trailer is wrapped it doesn't need to be wrapped it just be big ass decals with your website your phone number make sure you have a website make sure you're listed on Google my business and having a separate camera if you can like a separate little GoPro or a second phone this is Extreme I don't expect you guys to have a second camera lying around but it makes it very easy for this challenge unless you just clear out and clean this up and you don't take a lot of photos with your phone and you can easily transfer everything at the end of the day or the end of the week preferably end of day to your computer so now that the prerequisites are done let's talk about the 90day challenge and what you're going to be doing so in this 90-day challenge I have it broken down into three things you're going to be blown away by the Simplicity of this but if you follow this for 90 days come back to me tell me how you did but I want a checklist to know like what items you missed or didn't do so if you decide that you're going to do this 90 days and you're going to do 5 days a week cuz you don't want to work Saturdays or Sunday that's fine if you're going to take weekends off account for that and come back to me when you've done this 90 times the reason why I do 90 is in the YouTube world there's a theory that by your 100th video or 90th video whatever you want to call it it takes that many reps to actually start seeing positive outcomes from the inputs you know the more you input the more you get out right 90 days could be [ __ ] to you guys your 90 days might be you only work 4 days so I want you to really stick to a schedule if it's Monday through Friday or maybe you're busy as [ __ ] Monday through Fridays and you're really trying to hustle Saturdays and Sunday days you're going to be doing this a long time 2 days a week my goal is that you guys do this minimum 5 days a week try to do six try to do seven just try to do 90 days straight treat it like a workout let's say you don't have jobs Saturdays and Sundays you'll be able to knock out the tasks in couple hours right just try but I know this is going to be pretty hard to do s days a week but let's get started guys like I said I broke this down into three sections what you're going to do every day what you're going to do weekly and what you're going to do after every job let's start every day every day you're going to add a 100 people from those local Facebook Community groups the real estate groups in your area for example mine's like Los Angeles real estate or Manhattan Beach real estate groups or appli a Vista local community group you're going to go into all those groups and you're going to add 100 people every day you're going to go to the group go to the member section and you're just going to hit add add add add add add 50% of them might kick back and say you can't add this person so really you have to add 200 people but you'll get so fast at it it'll take you no more more than 3 minutes you will get through 200 people and you grow your Facebook friends list to 5,000 if you don't understand why I'm telling you to do this it turns your profile into a customer magnet and it makes it so powerful when you start boosting posts boosting is another form of advertising on Facebook versus running campaigns or ads if you want to learn more about why we add people adding 100 people every day and we're pimping our Facebook profile out and all that stuff go watch this video video here I talk about it here I talk about YouTube and Facebook a lot the second thing you're going to do is a minimum of 5 yard signs every day the reason why I'm going to have you do what does that come out to if you did it all 30 days that's what 150 yard signs a month so at minimum a 100 a month but I want you to shoot for 5 yard signs a day and remember this has its own call tracking number I'm telling you to spend 50 bucks a month on call rail unless you have a different platform you're doing call tracking so that you can see the numbers don't lie I want you to see the result results from handing out promotional materials versus yard signs versus door hangers versus whatever okay so make sure you order these yard signs branded and unbranded the yard signs you're putting out everywhere unbranded with a tracking number you cannot be tracked so when you see that call tracking number come in you just say junk removal how can I help you don't brand yourself because you'll know immediately if it's the sheriff be like hey what's your company name nobody on the phone's going to care about your company name when they're call for a yard sign only when you show up for the job don't worry about it just be super friendly on the phone third thing this depends on how many jobs you have like if you're fully packed one inperson sale but I want you to do one to five gift baskets those little brown bags with the chocolate candies and little pens whatever Dollar Tree stuff you want to put in in a business card I want you to meet up with minimum one person one apartment complex per day to get on their vendor list it doesn't matter if it's a assisted living facility storage unit real estate office apartment complex property manager um office locations boutique hotels shopping plazas with multiple businesses that have overflowing dumpsters in the back I want you to hit minimum one if you're busy if you're not busy 10 every day there is no reason you can't go to 10 apartment complexes every day if you're not doing anything okay so five yard signs will take you a half an hour to an hour 10 businesses will take you a couple hours you should be putting an 8 to 12 hour shift minimum or you're going to fail you're going to lose if you don't put in the it's just that simp simple and if you're not the social person and your wife is ask your wife to come with you or hire somebody you know at 15 bucks an hour off you know find somebody Charming some uh some 16-year-old kid from high school get them a a shirt I don't know if that's even legal if you can hire somebody 16 years old but what I'm saying is figure it out it's all about the Charisma so you need to just show your face hand your materials explain what you do remember you're doing them a favor this is a service they need places like storage units assisted living and apartment complexes they will have vendor list but all the other kind of businesses that you can think of might not have vendor list so it'll be easier to get their business but still give vendor compliant I'll make another video on getting vendor compliant and getting commercial jobs in apartment complexes so that's the third thing guys minimum one if you have no jobs 10 but you know if you have some jobs try to do two or three fit it in it's not that hard number four now this isn't as powerful but it's only five bucks a day there's no reason you shouldn't every day post on craist in my private community in the link below which is free I have my Craigs that's post this is for people who are trying to get leads and I'm telling you how this is what I would do on top of everything else that you're doing in your business this is what I would do every day for 90 days so this is what you're going to do after every job whether it's an apartment or a neighborhood five doors up door hangers Five Doors Down door hangers so 10 door hangers after every job second now this is a big one guys this is more of a long-term strategy but there's no reason you shouldn't be doing this and I talk about it in this video here and that is recording videos for YouTube and uploading it to your YouTube channel there's a lot of people who are talking about their business journey in junk removal which is great I do that too but they're branding it under their junk removal business the last thing a customer wants to do is find your business on YouTube and it's you talking about how much money you make how much money you lost how difficult business is I don't think a customer cares about that so what you're going to do is you're going to film every job I'm dead ass serious about this is why I said having a separate camera is beneficial if you have a GoPro lying around we're not talking about quality we're not talking about editing some people are confident they'll film the whole process you know you just get the stuff and the customer doesn't care trust me they really don't especially if you're just like oh I'm just getting before and afters just to show that we got the job done and you just point the camera down away from the customer they never care or you just wait for the customer to go point is guys I don't care if you get 5 Seconds of the single item that you're removing if it's a fridge just show the fridge really quick here hold I just demo YouTube prefers landscape that portrait okay hey guys uh it is Andrew with Jedi junk removal and we are removing a refrigerator today and here it is okay boom I get my employee maybe it's just me I load it in the truck at the end I film the truck all right guys we have just removed the refrigerator and off to the next job do you see how easy that was that was 10 seconds now why is this so powerful why is this so important if you upload all these videos videos to the Jedi junk removal YouTube channel refrigerator removal in enino California 912 32 whatever the ZIP code is YouTube automatically makes transcripts of every video so you don't have to necessarily talk in the video but if you do YouTube puts the transcript and it's you saying hey it's Andrew with Jedi jum removal we're removing a refrigerator in Ino California imagine after every job by the time you're done with this challenge you have at least 90 videos I I know this sounds obnoxious that's why I said having a separate phone and a separate camera could really benefit you but guys the SEO benefits of this will be insane and I don't care if you do 20 fridge removals in a row film everyone everyone's going to have its own geolocation its own chat transcript its own City and if you happen to remove four of them in enino just change the city name up or just just change it up just a little bit large refrigerator removal standard size refrigerator standard refrigerator removal in Andino and whatever the more videos that you can upload for the SEO benefit and if you don't understand the YouTube SEO benefit it is powerful and it will hit later and you will thank me so much now if you can film more of the job great put it in canva upload that [ __ ] to your channel I expect to see YouTubers having your junk removal Channel be about junk removal okay and you can get creative with the stuff later but for now stack the videos for SEO you'll thank me later cuz you'll start show showing up on the search results even with your YouTube videos but the YouTube videos sometimes get embedded into Google search results so not only you're doing SEO on your website I hope but you're doing some YouTube SEO too the two together powerful if you do want to do your journey that is a separate channel that you'll create under your name Andrew Thompson you can call it Andrew Thompson's junk Journey whatever Andrew Thompson's business Journey but don't do Andrew Jedi junk removal separate the channel so when customers find your business Channel they see junk removal stuff those customers are there for your business business Journey so I hope I made that clear third thing after every job guys is always ask to leave a yard sign in their yard if it's a house and this is where you leave the Branded yard signs there's no better referral than your neighbor so if your neighbor is announcing for 2 weeks straight one week whatever you work a deal for M was 20 bucks for 2 weeks okay I never went back and picked them up I never had a customer complain you can use an app it's probably like a $5 app you can pinpoint all your yard signs if you want to go pick actual picked them back up in La it's just not worth it but I would offer 20 bucks to leave it for 2 weeks and then if I got hesitance there I would just say one week and um that's where you leave your branded signs the fourth thing is of course hand them promo materials okay hand them a business card I have Flyers that said if you refer or use this again 10% off and then when they gave that back I would just say hey you can keep it and use 10% off if you use this again but yeah promotional materials and then fifth guys you have to send out a review link on the spot this is so easy with house call Pro my software workies as soon as you mark the job done completed it shoots out a text message saying hey this is Andrew thank you so much we just left it would really help us if you left us a review those are the five things after every job that you're going to do 10 door hangers record every job ask leave a yard sign in their yard hand out promo materials and a review link on the spot to your Google Maps review page and it's very easy with software guys and if you're not using software you should and you should be using my software Link in the description below to sign up for beta now we are going to talk about weekly and this is simple guys every week I want you to post something because you're adding 100 people 50% will get re uh Facebook will say you can't add this person so I want you to try to get 100 people added and once you finish that group go to the next group so by the end of the week if you add 100 people 700 people a week I promise you you'll go up by 100 to 200 people friends every week you're going to post you and your family doing something human real so something that you like whether it's fishing camping maybe you're just drinking coffee post something that says hm looking at the sun today what do you get I don't [ __ ] know but show that you're a person just interact with Facebook so that these new people you're adding start to see you they will start watching your stories if you're a private person you don't like to show your family your kids and you want them hidden that's fine and then you'll post work photos you and your crew smiling happy a family photo just show a photo every once in a while once a week twice a week of you and the crew doing some removals after that you're going to boost a post weekly one really good Facebook post about your business hey guys Andrew here with Jedi junk removal if you ever need junk removal we do house something that shows your truck and you in polos and a hat whatever looking professional maybe putting something in the truck whatever the photo is and you boost that photo weekly so that is the third thing we do weekly is you boost it every week for as much as you can afford start with 10 bucks then crank it to 20 and you're going to boost the same post so you'll always go to your profile and scroll back down and you'll hit boost again boost again and you're going to start getting likes on that you're going to start getting comments you're going to start getting shares and sometimes you'll get some negative ncies it happens I got them too you just delete those comments and just keep reading boosting try that for the 90 days and just make sure you respond to the people nurture those leads you might get a lot of people who are just like you know shopping around and it's kind of annoying but nurture those leads follow up with those leads okay and there are automation platforms like go high level that you can use to help automate the talking to your Facebook customers within the first 24 hours I'll do a video on that later too but you're not putting a fuckload of money into Facebook right now so you're not going to be getting hundreds of leads so you can nurture these leads yourself so guys we covered every day we cover covered every job and we covered what to do weekly do this for 90 days and I promise you you will see results and remember this doesn't mean to stop working on SEO Google ads Yelp ads Facebook ads this is just a checklist that if you guys go through
