online offline online offline which one is better hey everyone I'm Michael from Ezra and in this video we're going to look at the differences between in-person and digital coaching if you're new to the channel be sure to click the Subscribe button and hit the notification Bell so you can see all our latest videos on the superpower of coaching alright so let's get into it first let's talk about coaching most people think about coaching in the context of sports and honestly it's not a bad place to start a coach is a person with experience or Insight that can help another person or a coachee achieve a goal off the field this same process is used by businesses all over the world to help their employees be their best only in this case they're talking through challenges like being a new leader or managing stress so when we talk about in-person coaching we're talking about coaching sessions where the coach and the coachee are in the same physical room now as for digital coaching it's the same process only done through a digital platform like Ezra Zoom or teens but there are other digital tools available to help with the process like messaging resource courses or assessments if you'd like a more detailed overview of how digital coaching Works check out the video up here so back to our original question which is better well it depends let's break these down individually first up digital coaching Pros it's easier to schedule and so more likely to be used it's available anywhere with an internet connection there are multiple ways to connect there's a larger selection of coaches to choose from and it's easier to measure results now for the cons the technology may be a barrier to some it can be easy for some people to get distracted by notifications and it might take a little extra work to build a rapport with your coach now as for in-person coaching Pros there's more opportunity to build camaraderie with your coach before and after sessions you get a change of scenery and there can be less distractions cons it can be very expensive you're limited to coaches that are nearby it's not available everywhere scheduling can be difficult whether because of travel or finding a darn meeting room that's available and it can be harder to measure results alright now that you know the difference between the two I'd love to hear from you are you team in person or team digital let us know by typing in the comments in person or digital thanks for watching this overview I hope you found it helpful if you've made it this far don't forget to hit the like button and subscribe to our Channel see you next time [Music]
