Introduction

  • The MO-100 Word 2019 exam is challenging and can be confusing.

Task 1: Remove Compatibility Mode

  • Compatibility Mode: Allows older versions of Word to be used but disables new features.
  • Steps to Remove:
    • Go to File > Info.
    • Click on Convert next to Compatibility Mode.
    • Confirm the conversion.
  • New features like icons and 3D models become available.

Task 2: Save as Plain Text

  • Steps:
    • Go to File > Save As.
    • Choose Browse and direct to Documents folder.
    • Rename file as "Outline for Proposal".
    • Save as type Plain Text.
    • Confirm on prompt.

Task 3: Convert Footnotes to Endnotes

  • Steps:
    • Go to References tab.
    • Open Footnote and Endnote dialog box.
