[Music] um whose idea was it to start a mortgage protection company in 2009 um on the back of the biggest mortgage crisis i don't think we were given many options a lot of good people leave companies they're not making enough money they're overworked they don't have enough upward mobility or they don't like the people they're in business with when brandon and i started symmetry it wasn't like we had this lifelong goal of starting our own business we saw something that no one else had done and we said we can do this early on the most important thing that we wanted was just the ability for agents to come in make a good living but not have to sacrifice too much to have that their tagline that they've used from the beginning was sharing the wealth of opportunity and that ideal of sharing the wealth of opportunity the idea that relationships matter people come first you see it in every decision that is is made we want you to be able to go out in your very first year and make 80 to 100 000 plus selling insurance we want you to come in and be able to protect families we want you to be able to build a business so that you can create passive income we want people to own their business that way they have the security to know they can be taken away from them people have found a home here and been able to rebuild their lives when you build an agency and you start hiring and training and coaching and developing people to become you know the best agents that they can be right you see their lives improves we've been recognized by inc 5000 as being one of the fastest growing companies in the country and top company culture by entrepreneur magazine the life insurance industry just with the product that we sell is impactful when you deliver a death benefit you feel it i can't imagine selling a product that i love more than what we do you know brandon bryan and myself have been in this industry for a combined 70 75 years all together yes mostly brian mostly brian right we've never seen this amount of change in such a short period of time ensure tech is an emerging aspect of the industry we made a conscious decision to try to lead the way there the things we're doing are head and shoulders above anybody else we believe that the future of our industry is to create a world where every single repetitive mundane and manual aspect of an agent's work will cease to exist quality will be the public-facing client platform and will be backed by symmetry a nationwide network of highly trained professionals equipped with tools to help clients from anywhere in the country we find ourselves in what feels like to us a pretty unique and a very strong position in a multi-trillion dollar industry with a very big head start on things and getting traction because we already have a very important thing that the others don't have scale in 2019 we did 123 million in 2020 we did 162 and last year we rounded out at 205 million and that's during a pandemic that's starting near 70 growth during that period the innovations that symmetry continues to invest in are nothing short of spectacular certainly industry and pace setting from products to technology to data and reporting and all of these things that make a massive difference in the life of an agent and a client the onset of quality first of all is is remarkable we've seen in the past year and a half we've seen the digital lead space really explode the industry is full of agents buying leads from vendors who really have no way of knowing or tracking what kind of actual returns can be made on the leads we rolled out value-based lead pricing we've analyzed 12 years of data so we can tell you what our leads actually produce for our average agents now the roi that our agents are going to realize client and like it's maybe one or two other carriers that are close to that but not at that price point and not with my company's name on it you can cover your clients for up to a million dollars in face amount in about 10 minutes total so some less you did it in quick now it's got return of premium you guys have grown this product to over 500 000 a week in netplace premium well done in april of 2021 we launched our own exclusive life software showing them how to get out of debt and build wealth without spending any additional money we put back an estimated 300 million dollars of scheduled interest back into the pockets of the american people we are just getting started my friends you know our world is changing along with it the expectations of our clients are changing it is not the strongest or the biggest that survives right it's the fastest we're going to wrap you with the best technology and tools and artificial intelligence and machine learning to keep you in your strength
