Types of Technicians and Their Roles

• Stapathi (Master Architect):

  • Creative role requiring knowledge of various sciences, including mathematics, astrology, and Vedas.
  • Must be prepared before construction to avoid inefficiencies.
  • Eight skills required: intricate design, carpentry, brickwork, stone art, innovative use of materials, and flawless plan execution.
  • Needs intuitive insight (Pradnya) and righteous character (Sheila).

• Sutra Grahin (Draftsman):

  • Responsible for measurements and acts as a successor to Stapathi.

• Takshaka:

  • Stone cutter.

• Vardhakin:

  • Joins parts and finishes surfaces, works closely with Takshaka.

Construction Team Structure

• Led by Stapathi with a team consisting of Sutra Grahin, Takshaka, and Vardhakin.
