um you're not at any disadvantage in fact I think you're brilliant timing because the things I will be covering on this course is exactly what you need to know before you get a website and I've had people say to me few weeks into the course thank God I know all of this before I got a website so uh that's good timing and for those of you with a website you're not at any disadvantage either because as you learn things you might decide to change things on your website a website is something that you can change at any time right you really need a website and you should view your website at the center of your digital marketing this is your sales environment you'd have a page for every product or service that you offer on each page you'd have the features benefits of the product or service ideally some testimonials customer saying how amazing it is ideally a video bringing it to life and ideally a call to action prompting people to take the next most logical step request a call back request a free initial chat buy now book now if it's a guest house or an event so this is at the center of your marketing week two next week I'm going to give you website marketing tips I'm going to give you some advice on how you might go about getting a website for those of you who don't have one and I'm going to give you lots of tips on what to get right on your website so that when you drive people in there they're more likely to inquire a purchase that is one of the topic actually no that's week three apologies week three okay once you get yourself a website your next objective is not Instagram or Facebook your next objective is to get it found high up in Google because the traffic you get from Google is from people who are right now searching for what it is you offer they have the need and the intent so if I'm searching for if I want yoga classes and I'm living in NS I'll search for yoga classes in NS if I land on your website if you're a yoga instructor I'm quite likely to book but if your Facebook or Instagram post comes into my feed about your yoga classes well 10 seconds ago I wasn't even thinking I needed or wanted them so you might piak my curiosity you might temp me over to your website but I'm less likely to purchase than if I had come in from Google so knowing how to get found high up in Google is a crucial part of digital Market marketing we're spending all next week on that so week two is search engine optimization how to get found high up in Google Now to be effective at digital marketing you really need three skills you need to understand how to design eye-catching images so that when your posts get into people's feeds they look professional compelling and they project the best image for your business so on week three I'll be showing you canva as well as website marketing so some weeks I'll be covering two topics so on week three uh the first half I'm covering canva the second half I'm covering website marketing the second skill you need is to be able to make your own marketing videos social media is really turning into video marketing reals is the main way to use Instagram for marketing they're short videos reals on Facebook very important Tik Tok is a video marketing social network or video social network so I'll be showing you to edit your own marketing videos on the final week week six be showing you how to use cap cut but on the Instagram week I'll be showing you how to make reals within Instagram and on the Tik Tok week I'll be showing you how to make Tik toks within Tik Tok but then I'll say but wouldn't it be great if you could just edit your videos in an editor not within Instagram or Tik Tok and then you decide do you want to share that video to Instagram Facebook Tik Tok YouTube whatever you want very important to know how to make videos third skill you need is our artificial intelligence you absolutely need to know how AI can help you in your digital marketing because it's quite incredible now how it can help you and it's so important I'm spending today on it bu day and then for the remaining five weeks I'll keep referring back to artificial intelligence and chat PT could help you with that and Gemini could help you with that and then of course you need to know social networks so I'm going to show you on week four how to use Facebook for marketing as a free marketing to them on week five I'm going to show you Instagram and on week six in the first half I'm going to show you Tik Tok so this is our schedule now week one artificial intelligence it's a skill you need week two you need to get found I up in Google so week two is all about SEO week three you're going to start learning how to design eye-catching Graphics in the first half and in the second half you're going to get website marketing tips then the second half of the course really is all about social media week four is Facebook week five is Instagram first half of week six is Tik Tok and the second half of week six is video video editing so by the end of the course you will hopefully Come Away with a few big things you'll have the helicopter view of your digital marketing you'll understand the different areas how they fit together and which you should be focusing on you'll also have developed your skills in terms of image editing video editing and using artificial intelligence you'll definitely understand how to get your sites found high up in search engines and you will also understand three of the big social networks how they work what you should be posting how the algorithms work what you need to do to question chat GPT here do you use or have you used chat GPT option one yes a lot which would suggest you feel you know a lot about it yes a little but not sure our best to use it or no and no mean no okay most of you have answered these are the results 22% of you said a lot 56% of you said yes a little but not your our best to use it and 22% of you said no okay so I won't tell you at this stage what we're going to cover today I'm just going to get into it and then maybe in five minutes time I'm going to tell you what we're going to cover okay that's okay might be putting the cart before the horse otherwise I just want to get everybody up to speed in terms of terminology and what an AI like chat GPT is so a term that you might have heard or you will hear me using is llm large learning model and think of a large learning model as a super super computer and what they did was so chat GPT is a large learning model and what they did was they scraped the internet for anything reputable everything from how to boil an egg to nuclear fusion they just scraped it and FedEd it into the super computer the llm they then got digital copies of books digital copies of magazines and they fed it in now our brains are made up of billions of neurons and they able to apply the principle of that neural networking to this super computer so actually you can ask chpt a superc computer any question it will process through all the information was fed and it will give you a very humanlike answer of course it's not a human it's just a supercomputer a large learning model has been fed loads of information another term you might hear is generative AI it just means an AI that generates its own content there are some AIS that have been fed all this text information and when you ask it a question it gives you a text answer there's also AIS that have been fed billions of images and trained on them and it knows what a cat and a dog and a beach is so you could say could have an image of a cat and a dog walking down the beach and it will just create that image for you I'll demonstrate that for you later there's also AIS that have been fed billions of videos so I could say could I have a video of a cat and a dog walking down the beach and it'll create the video for me and you're going to see that today you're going to see generative AI that creates text images videos Chachi PT is probably the most famous but there are others that are just like Chachi PT right for those of you who um are not that familiar or maybe haven't even used it You' go let me just open a different browser here uh where's firef Fox Okay so just go to chat gp.com all of this is in your notes folks my notes are very detailed um and when you go to chp.com for the first time it will ask you to create an account it's free to create an account and most of what I'm going to show you today is free until I tell you I'm now using the paid version and I will absolutely be showing you what's in the paid version because a lot of what's in the paid version will end up in the free version but also you can use some of it for free in other tools so I'm in here and I'm using it for free now all I'm trying to do is give a feel for chat GPT in a different tab I'm going to go to Google because I'm planning a trip to Dublin so I'm going to Google Dublin 3day itinerary and we know what Google will give us it'll give us relevant Pages for the search term from sites that it trust and if I click on this I'm reading what somebody felt is a great 3-day itinerary and it could be a great itinerary and for 20 years I'm just trying to open a Word document here uh for 20 years that might have been good but no chat GPT as I do I would never go to chat GPT for that okay if you're wondering what I'm doing I'm just kind of scanning through Word document here I'll be um copying and pasting stuff as much as I can today to keep this course going right so let's go over to chbt and in this box where it says ask it anything I'm giving it a bit more information I'm saying I'm visiting Dublin on a 4-day trip spending three nights in a city center Hotel can you provide me with an IT recommending the best places to visit and neat I have an interest in French food Irish music and Georgian history because remember Church BT has been fed everything everything reputable on the internet it has been fed every article blog post on what to do in Dublin every website every magazine every book it knows everything about what to do in duin so I'm asking it to come up with an itinery that's tailored for me so when I click enter it will come up with an itinerary for me now it's not normally this slow I'll be honest with you so I hope we won't have problems today uh come on you can do it normally would have it done by now so I hope we won't have a problem I gave a course a few weeks ago and just as I started the course there was this Global worldwide outage which was brilliant so this is extremely slow so for any of you new this is not the standard in terms of speed but it does illustrate my point that it's giving me a tailored itinerate start with breakfast great for coffee Maran Square Georgian tow houses Georgian train shmax French cuisine okay so why would I why would I ever now go back here again why would I want to read through itineraries that are not in any way tailored to me when I can give chbt loads of detail and get a tailor to me the world is full of complicated things and I've come AC across a mass spectrometer and I'm not sure what it is so for years I would go to Google what is a mass spectrometer and of course Google will give me links to web pages and on this web page it's telling me it's an analytic tool used to measure the mass to charge ratio of one or more molecules present in a sample so I'm not very scientific soor I'm too what that means so I might go to chat GPT and I'll ask the same question what is a mass spectrometer I hope it speeds up a bit okay scientific instrument used to measure the master charge ratio very similar to Google I still have no idea though so I'm just going to stop it there and I'm going to say explain it as though I am 11 and now it will re answer but this time it should be an answer that's understandable to an 11-year-old and again normally the answer would be done now straight away sure imagine you have a big bag of different sized Lego breaks and you want to sort them by size and weight it's like a super smart Lego sorter I still don't understand it explain it as though I am five it will now explain it in a way that the things would be understandable to a five-year-old and again normally it would have the whole thing done this is not a reflect for anybody new to chur this is not the speed okay imagine you have a handful of balloons some are big and some are small now a big fan blows them across the room the small light balloons go really far the big ones don't go as far mass spectometer does something similar with tiny pieces of stuff I think I Now understand it so not only does chat GPT know everything about everything when it gives you an answer it'll give you an answer a middle of the road answer that it thinks would be understandable to most adults but if it isn't understandable you can ask it to dumb it down explain it as 15 11 five it will or actually the answers might be a bit too basic for you explain it as though I'm a graduate physics graduate explain it as though I'm a professor in nuclear fusion you get a totally different answer and today when it comes to how to use AI for digital marketing you will notice that I'm always asking it act like an expert act like an Instagram marketing expert act like an expert copywriter act like an SEO expert I'm just going to get much better answers because I'm asking it to crank up the level of expertise there are loads of other ways I won't be typing it in now but there are loads of other ways I could use chat GPT as a person I have the following five ingredients in my fridge uh recommend or suggest three meals I could cook within 15 minutes it knows every recipe known to man it'll just come up with the recipes my son Dylan was graduating from college last year had a clue what he what he could do he could go to Google best jobs for math gr graduates very basic very basic articles instead he went to chat PT I'm graduating with a Math's degree uh explained to me the top 20 jobs for mats graduates but he didn't stop there he said but could you also explain the pros and cons of each job what somebody does in a typical day what the starting salary for a graduate in irand is that's an awful lot of detail chat GPT just did it like that the information that you struggle to get from a career advisor he then said okay well what's important to me is the ability to travel have a job in any country with what I do is measurable could you now rank the uh the jobs based on my criteria just rerank the whole tanks I could go to Google and say birthday gift ideas for Dad who likes gardening technology and golf try that you won't get very good results it'll just give you links to Pages gifts for dad golf gifts for dad technology go to Google could you brain brain storm 100 ideas for dad likes gardening golf technology suggest 100 unique unusual gifts all under1 Euro amazing amazing suggestions so when you think of that and when you when you try it Google starts looking quite primitive and as I go through today and I show you other things you're going to start thinking actually Google is is looking quite dated now now there's a Company the company behind Church GPT is called open AI they formed in around 2016 and their goal was to create an AI for the benefit of humanity there was a lot of big hitters in the tech World Elon Musk was involved he left he's now suing them you might have seen that um they brought out chpt 1 chat gpt2 chat gpt3 all of which were kind of okay but not amazing and then they brought out chpt 3.5 which is what I just demonstrated there they brought that out in November 2022 so just over two years ago two and a half years ago now and when people used it most people thought oh my God that's incredible that's like nothing we've seen this actually could do to Google what the iPhone did to noia we all had noia phones for years and two years after the iPhone nobody had a noia phone anymore we all had Android phones and uh iPhones and Nokia was left behind so Microsoft immediately showed interest and they tried to buy open AI but the way it was structured they couldn't buy it so they agreed to be the major investor and they put 30 billion into it so if you're wondering who really is behind open AI it's Microsoft for their 30 billion they got to put chpt into all of their products word PowerPoint Excel Outlook and being their search engine but they didn't want to call it Chachi PT because then it didn't look like theirs so they rebranded it to Microsoft co-pilot so you have seen tv ads about Microsoft co-pilot keyboards now shipped with a Microsoft co-pilot button Windows 11 or Windows 12 whatever we have that is a Microsoft co-pilot button and I've been joined by Kevin so Microsoft has their equivalent but actually it is chat PT just rebranded of course Google was then asked by the financial analyst well where does this leave you Google and prior to chpt everybody really would have said Google is the leader in AI they'd invested billions they bought the company called what was it called Deep Mind in 2012 the Deep Mind AI took on all the um the grand Masters in chess and beat them but actually open AI launched chat GPT before before Google did and uh Google said well no actually we have our Ai and it's called Bard now if any of you remember the days of broadband when when we all started getting Broadband there were companies out there that would compare Broadband providers and it would compare them based on download speed upload speed downtime all of that so there are companies out there that compare all these AIS in terms of creating ity accuracy the ability to do coding maths Etc and they all found that Chach PT was much better than Bard Google bard so Google said no no this isn't our main one our main one we're working on it is called Gemini and they launched it at the start of last year and when they launched Gemini all the comparison said actually the CES is good if not better than CH GPT and then two weeks ago Gemini went through a huge upgrade if any of you have used Gemini and haven't used in the last two weeks go back and use it it's now absolutely brilliant and they've added some extra wezy things to it and uh Google's definitely back now in the race when it comes to this not their main Google search engine their Google search engine is the exact same as it was here in Ireland but in terms of their AI their generative AI a large learning model that's been fed everything so we we now know that there isn't really just chat GPT there are alternatives to chat GPT one of them is Microsoft co-pilot which really is chat the other is Google Gemini there's another one from a company called anthropic and it's called FL there's another one by meta Facebook Instagram they have one in America called meta AI just not allowed in Europe because the EU AI directive makes it tricky for them to Launch things unless they jump through privacy Hoops but they have one in America that's just like Chachi P so what I'm teaching you today isn't how to use chat GPT it's how to use a generative Ai and everything I'm about to teach you you can apply to any of those other AIS can I ask is everybody with me that was just to bring everybody up to speed we all hopefully Now understand what we're talking about here what an AI is all that fantastic great and if I'm able to ask it about trips to Dublin and mass spectrometers it has no problem with digital marketing it has been fed everything known to man about digital marketing all the Articles all the books it is an expert in digital marketing okay all that there was in your notes folks these are your notes for today if anybody joined late you're going to get emailed these notes after the course today so at the start what is a large learning model what's an AI generative AI bit of background these are the kind of things that you could ask it as a person uh there is a there's alternatives to chat GPT and there's also free in a paid version I'm going to talk about that now actually so when it launched in November 2022 around 100 million people used it within a week so it became slow and it kept crashing so they brought out a paid version and for 22 20 EUR a month and for your 20 20 EUR month you were getting a faster experience and also more reliable now I know I was using the free version there and it was terribly slow that is not usual normally it's like lightning uh there must be some problem with the server today so from the very start there has been a free and a paid version the free version was 3.5 the paid version was four and I remember six months in I was still paying my 202 and I was thinking I don't know what I'm paying my 20 month for really because I can see the free one is fast but then they started bringing out features Advanced features in the paid version and now I'm very clear what I get in the paid version and in this course I really want to spend the last 45 50 minutes of it showing you all the really quizzy things they have in the paid version because some of you might decide to pay for it it would be a brilliant tool for your business but if you don't pay for it a lot of these things will end up coming down into the free version anyway and quite a few of them are available for free in the Alternatives Google Gemini and Microsoft co-pilot so I will get on to what's in the paid version later today nol hi Evan any of you in deep seek it's a good question now right I'm going to spend a minute or two talking about deep seek because you might have heard of it it's the Chinese equivalent of Chach it costs a fortune to create these AIS an absolute Fortune billions and billions and it requires very high performing chips that's why there's a company called Nvidia who make these chips and their share prices gone to the roof because these real data or chip hungry tools remember there's meta they're buying thousands of chips Microsoft Gemini and the cost of producing these large learning models was quite prohibitive also the Biden Administration didn't want the Chinese to get ahead of the Americans when it came to AI they wanted to slow down progress so Chip makers like Nvidia were told you can't sell to the Chinese so the Chinese came up with something that nobody expected which was they created an equivalent of chat GPT for a fraction of the money and not using all of these chips how they did it was they kind of took a version of chpt and then trained a much smaller lighter version on chpt but they proved that it could be done and when they launched it in January nvidia's share price collapsed because all the financial aners could see actually you don't seem to need all these chips we thought they'd always need these chips but it looks not like they they don't need them so that was the first thing the second thing is when chip P built its model and Gemini built its model they were proprietary which means that there's all these developers all over the world who want to use chat GP or Gemini in their product but they have to pay chat GPT and Gemini when deep SE came along it said no no no we're open source if anybody wants our AI model you can use it so it now became like so cheap for any developer in the world to start building on an AI so it it launched in January and it's totally upended the whole AI Market because it has proven that you don't need to spend billions every year and it has made it much cheaper for people all over the world to start building on AI so no last do I have any view on deep seek I have a view and that is it has really upended the market which is a good thing I suppose depending where you're coming from I'm here delivering a course today on how to use AI for digital marketing but I'm also Evan and I have concerns about how fast AI is developing and I have concerns about a tool as powerful as open AI getting into the wrong hands and I think that a tool like deep seek makes it very easy for people who want to use these tools for for for wrong bad purposes to be able to get their hands in it okay but I don't want to give you my personal views today this is a digital marketing course you could use deep seek just go to deep seek.com I find it a bit slow I find it a bit buggy but that's my answer now hope hope we're okay if you have any other question on deep seek everybody else you don't even need to know about deep seek okay but I do want to answer people's questions okay in order to get the most out of these tools um quite often it comes down to the questions you ask and the questions you ask are called prompts so if I go back here firstly just to say I really haven't been doing this correctly I've just kept coming down here and I've kept asking a new question but you see all my previous chats are listed over here and if I have if I want to have a conversation ask it a question about something I really should come up here new chat and then ask it a question and then ask it lots of questions about that topic but then if I want to ask something about a different topic I should come up here to New chat then I can at any point go back to my previous chats and pick up where I left off if you just keep asking questions about lotss of different topics then you'll end up with a mish mash of a chat hard for you then to go back and find what you're looking for so when I asked it a question what is a mass spectrometer that is a prompt when I asked it about the itinerary that's a prompt so if I use the word prompt or question today it's exactly the same thing it's just in AI the terminology is prompt and there are around six prompts that are proven to help you get the most out of um an AI tool like Chachi PT or gemini or any of these the first is teach me if you ask it to teach you something it will assume you don't know much and it will do a very good job of teaching you so I'm going to come over here and I'm going to come up here to New chat and I'm going to say I have a driving instructor business in NIS County CLA teach me how to increase my sales so because I asked it to teach me it assumes I don't know much about this and it will teach me okay to increase your sales focus on these key areas improve visibility and marketing optimize your Google profile I'll be showing you how to do that next week leverage social media use targeted ads offer attractive packages and discounts partner with local schools enhance the customer experience build trust with reviews okay what I could do now is I could come down here and go copy and paste that into a Word document I could then start working my way through and I could say teach me how to optimize my Google profile and I'll be explaining your Google profile next week and I'll be giving you lots of tips chpt is putting it in here I could then choose another one use that partner with local businesses and schools teach me how to partner with local businesses and schools and it will so basically when you ask it to teach you about a topic it'll give you six or seven things you could do you can then choose any or all of those six or seven things contact schools and colleges reach out like NIS Community College and St flannan's College offer free talks on road safety offer exclusive discounts run a competition collaborate with car dealerships and mechanics partner with workplaces and businesses Target local employers hotels supermarkets offer employee discount so it's just giving me all these ideas because it has been fed everything known to man about marketing and sales and it has been fed everything about how to grow a driving instructor business I could put in I have a dog grooming extensions and then there's local and longtail words affordable hair salon hair salon with the best reviews I don't expect you to understand why it's splited into those three things today but next new chat whatever way these AIS have been programmed they're extremely creative absolutely brilliant at coming up with ideas if you're looking for ideas on anything your personal life your business ask chpt so I'm going to say I want to set up a new business in the gardening sector act like a new business Expert and brainstorm 20 ideas so you can actually combine these prompts and I do it all the time act like an expert in this area and either teach me or brainstorm I'm showing you that if you ask it to brainstorm it'll come up with brilliant ideas if IID said act like a new business Expert and teach me what's involved in setting up a new business in wood but that's totally different to brainstorm ideas for a new business so it's coming at it here in terms of product based businesses Garden Center Nursery organic seed and plant subscription eco-friendly spoke garden structure or service-based businesses it's interesting uh garden design organic Wildlife friendly installation vertical or education and experience-based businesses gardening workshops corporate gardening and team building workshops it's a very interesting approach and then nich and speciality Edible Landscaping pet friendly and toxic free Gardens so it didn't just you know come up with loads of ideas it actually started to categorize them well there are businesses that you could sell products that are gardening related there are Services you could provide that are gardening related there are educational workshops teaching type businesses and then there are some Niche so I like the up with an outline for a 20page block and then ask her to write each section I asked it I didn't ask it to come up with an entire 90minut Workshop I asked it to come up with an outline for a 90-minute workshop and it did first his introduction an ice breaker I'd say I'd managed that section two wild why Wildlife needs our Gardens so I can now say write a script for a section two by Wildlife needs our guidance and now it's writing script for me would even tell me what to put in my slides so let's have think about that that uh a couple of minutes ago I didn't even know what kind of a business I could set up I asked it to brainstorm it's very creative it came up with brilliant ideas I chose one I asked it to brainstorm 10 workshops it did I chose one of those and asked it to create an outline it did and then I asked it to write a section a script it did I could then ask it to write a script for each section and give me a very detailed script so brainstorm is a prompt that I think you will act like an expert copywriter I know I'm brainstorming at the moment okay um I I sell dog offers uh brainstorm 20 blog post topics that I could write blog post okay there are the first three prompts they're all in your notes step by step all of those prompts act as teach me brainstorm fourth is summarize it's absolutely brilliant at summarizing so I'm reading an article I've read an article or I don't have time to read the article you know but that looks interesting so I either thought it was brilliant and I want a summary or I'm thinking that looks great but I don't have time to read it so I could just go summarize the top 10 points in this article I paste in the link and here we go not too impressed with the summary to be honest so I could say summarize it in 10 points now that looks much better you know wasn't happy with that so sometimes if it does something or gives you an answer you think that isn't really very helpful it's like we ask somebody to do homework and they only have do the homework but you go back could you summarize in 10 points and that's far better and then I could say what else did they say about species Extinction the article in biodiversity discover species Extinction in the following ways okay my point is it's brilliant at summarizing I know the first example wasn't great but once I asked it to redo it it was I often come across YouTube videos and I think that looks like a brilliant video but it would take an hour of my time and I just get the transcript pop the transcript in and say could you summarize the main points in this YouTube video and it tells me exactly what was in the video and I think that's very interesting what else did they say about that I'll be coming on to explain to you later that in the paid version you could attach a PDF that is hundreds and hundreds of pages and within two seconds it will analyze it and summarize it for you very very handy so our fourth prompt is summarize if that is what you want the fifth prompt would be asking it to write and it's absolutely brilliant at writing very very creative so I'm going to come up here to New chat oh by the way this thing has popped up you've hit the free plan limit and it's important for you to understand what's going on here remember I said that there's a free and a paid version the free version is 3.5 the paid version is four but then last year they brought out 40 in addition to four and 40 is just their bigger better large learning model model it has been fed more information and the way it has been trained is just a bit more creative and just gives you better answers now I'm on the free version which is 3.5 and when you are using the free version for the first seven or eight questions prompts they don't tell you this but they're giving you 40 they're giving you answers using the biggest best large learning model there and then when you exceed your seven or eight questions they give you this alert you've hit the free plan limit for GPT 40 responses will use another model 3.5 until your limit resets at 629 today now I actually think they're being a bit disingenuous here because you could do this a totally different way when you go in they could say welcome to Chachi PT we're giving you six or seven goals of our best large learning model our best model enjoy it we hope you enjoy it and now you know you're getting something that's bigger and better for free but no they chose not to do that they chose to give it to you without you even knowing and then they've told you that you have now exceeded the limit and they put a button there that says upgrade get plus and I think they're doing this somebody's unmuted I'm going to mute you and then I'll take your question I think they're doing this to kind of trick people into thinking oh I can't use chpt now until half six this evening damn it what's this plus 20 crit I might as well pay that what I'm saying to you is that isn't what it means at all you can continue using it for free as much as you want it's just that you won't be using 40 you'll be using 3.5 and 3.5 is excellent hope you all understand that it's kind of in a way I just think it's their way of trying to trick people and people have been tricked people on this course have said to me I paid for it do you mean I didn't have to pay for it you don't have to you can just keep using it Jenny have you question you okay yeah um I've used chat gbt but I haven't open opened an account so um is there an advant what are the advantages is to um opening an account just briefly Evan yeah well it means that it will save all your previous chats so you can go back to them that's very beneficial and it also means that you can use some of the things that I will be showing you very shortly like the ability for to remember things that you've told it the ability for you to tailor it more to you the ability for you to totally protect your privacy so that's my short answer okay thank you when I show you a lot of things I will remind you of those things okay great so what I'm now coming on to show you is that it's very good at writing so I'm going to say write a 500w story about three teenagers spending the night in Anis Woods count CLA and it'll write a story te teenagers kir Shane and and Ashling were looking for adventure in a cool Autumn evening in NES there's the story now I don't have young kids anymore but if I had a 5-year-old I would come here and I'd probably say write a bedtime story from my 5-year-old son Archie and he's teddy bear tinpot include a time traveling astronaut make it funny I tried this comes up with brilliant little bedtime stories I could then say could you could you rewrite and make it funnier and make sure all the jokes are on tinpot and it would so it's very very creative now I also said that it's a large learning model that is been fed not just what's on the internet but also books and it's been fed most books and I could come back and I could say we write this in the style of Stephen King the horror writer and will it was supposed to be a simple dare just a way to pass the time but by the time the sun dipped below the Horizon casting Long Shadows on the Twisted trunks the air felt different so I could ask it to write it Like Donald Trump it would ask it to write like Opera Winfrey ask it to write like any James Herbert any writer you want it knows it's been fed all their books it can write like any of them so I'll be showing you I'll be saying as this course goes on you could help you could get it to help you writing your social media Poe Revenue stream is a great way to diversify and boost your hair Cy and hear a few ideas and it's giving me some ideas I could then say oh yeah I've tried some of those but I haven't tried that one how how how would I go about that one so you got to a chat about anything because this is a digital marketing course I'm saying why not have a chat about your business what you think is going well what isn't going well areas that you'd like to improve also if you're going to have a chat wouldn't it be nice if you could actually chat rather than type so I'll show you later that you can actually have course between now and coffee break I'm going to talk about copyright you will probably have some questions about copyright so I will cover what I think you should know and then going to move on to memory I've touched on it there what is this memory thing and how can you check what it has remembered about you I'm then going to explain how to protect your privacy coming back to Jillian's question shouldn't do and what you definitely shouldn't do is copy and paste the AI text into your web pages I'll explain why then I'm going to demonstrate what's on the app um because some of you might want to do this in the phone and the app is very similar but there's one or two different things in the app and then I'm going to ask you do you now you're comfortable using the free version of jgpt for your marketing and of course I'll be coming back to it over the next six five weeks showing you lots of other things but then I hope to have around 45 minutes to show you what's in the paid version and there's some very quizzy things in the paid version can I ask are we all okay with that that makes sense to you yeah great but ask me any questions and I will answer them right so the first is copyright and the question I often get asked is who owns the copyright to anything produced by chat GPT or any other Ai and the answer is nobody a judge in New York ruled no CH open AI doesn't own the copyright Chach PT or Gemini they don't own the copyright they're not legal entities even though I ask the prompt I don't own on the copyright so you can use whatever you want whatever it creates you can use it in your social media or you can use it in your website so when I come on and show you the chat GPT can create images and chat GPT can create videos you can use those images and videos in your marketing no problem at all however there is a second area to copyright that you might consider why was Chad GPT able to write like Stephen King because Stephen King's books were taken without his permission and fed into chpt most books have been fed into chpt Stephen King wouldn't be happy with that now there's and they are being taken to court now I was listening to a podcast and there was a journalist from The New York Times let's say her name was Mary Mangan and she said I went to chpt and I typed in write an article on such and such a topic to do with Ukraine because that was her area and write it in the style of Mary Mangan of the New York Times and she said this article appeared in front of me and I I couldn't believe it I was reading it and I started to ask myself did I actually write that because it was so like what I would have written and then it dawned to me she said it's taken me 30 years to develop my expertise it's how I make my living why should anybody in the world be able to ask for an article in my style when I don't get paid for it so the New York Times have taken them to court loads of publishing companies have taking them to court now open Ai and chat gpt's attitude has been well look we're trying to create the best generative AI out there and if we only fed it content that was freely available then we're not feeding it the best and therefore people wouldn't get the best answers so what we did really was for the Ben benefit of everyone which is a bit think about it bit weasly because the Publishers would say okay yeah so you stole our copyright work to make your product better so that people don't even actually have to buy our product which is essentially it so they've sued them and these AI companies have realized that their AI are only as good as the content you put in and you have to pay for that content so just in the last six months they've around 800 million to all these publishing companies they've been doing deals to make sure that everybody's getting paid otherwise they'll be told you got to start again you got to wipe it clean they'll be told up by the courts okay so they are the two areas of uh copyright first is we as users can use whatever it creates and the second is if you're a content creator it could be that your content was stolen but going to the courts and uh most publishing companies getting recompensed I'm going to go back and caveat now what I said I said you can take whatever the AI gives you and you could use it but I hope you understand that if I ask the AI to write in the style of Stephen King when Stephen King's copyright was infringed and now Chachi PT is being sued you know that you shouldn't be doing that don't you you know that it wouldn't then be right to get it to write like Stephen King and then you publish it as yours so hope we all understand that there's a bit of kind of Common Sense here as well if you understand that people's copyright was infringed then we shouldn't be asking for things in their style and then publishing them as ours when really it isn't ours in the first place but if you just ask it to write like you then absolutely no problem okay next is memory I asked it this is evans's style writing style remember that and it did they got it so if you ask it to remember something it will but actually it'll remember things anyway even if you didn't ask it to remember it actually I'm going to skip the order here I'm going to move to your privacy first and then I'm going to come on to memory it's a better order privacy the there was somebody on this course who asked me questions similar to Jillian and he said Evan I'm setting up a new business it's going to be quite Niche nobody else I think is going to have a business like this and um I've done a lot of market research and I want to write a business case get bank loans and I'd like chat GPT to help me with that business case now by the way if you ask chat GPT act like an expert in writing business cases it'll be incredible act like an expert in getting bank loans it'll be incredible it'll tell you exactly what you need but he said in order to write a good business case uh I would need to share all my market research if I share all my market research will it now be in chat GPT and when other people ask questions could chat GPT end up telling them answer is based on my market research and the answer is yes absolutely because whatever you tell CH gbt is now in chpt it's totally different to Google where you ask a question and Google is giving you links no whatever you tell chy PT is you're now training the model and you can't come back afterwards and say could you delete that from chy PT they can't the way they describe it is they can't say to Evan Evan you know that thing you saw there 60 seconds ago unse that I'm going to say I can't unsee that I I saw it well they can't tell the AIS to no forget that the Ai No can't so got to understand that and my advice to you is do two things one is button down your privacy and the second thing is even then I would never tell it anything confidential that is attributable back to me how do you button down your privacy new chat first way is a temporary way click here on chat GPT and it's not there anymore there used to be an option there just going to go over to the paid version there's a few weird things happening today it's like they're rolling out something new yeah they moved it up here to Temporary was up here they've now moved it up there so let's go back to the free version they've definitely rolled out a new version today I think that's why was so s okay let's go back to fir Fox there you go temporary if you click on temporary they're saying this chat won't appear in history use or create memories or be used to train our models train our models is the key phrase here train our models means it won't be fed into chpt so that would be like a temporary way of doing it and they've even called it temporary the permanent way and this is what I advise you to do is come up here click the green and click settings and under settings click data controls and next improve the model for everyone for you it would be on unless you have it switched off come up and switch it off now improve the model for everyone is their kind of altruistic phrasing of it they could have written share whatever you tell Chachi PT with everyone because that's exactly what it means improve the model for everyone means share whatever you tell chpt with everyone why would you want that so now once that is off whatever you tell chpt will not be shared with everyone can I ask did everybody follow that that makes sense to you and Jillian you asked do you have to be careful what information you give chpt for example if thrashing out an innovative business idea so Jillian thumbs up yet then just make sure you switch up my device all if you just switch it off won't take you two memory and then it'll just start remembering from right now this is a handy useful thing remember I've already switched on my privacy I've switched off the data sharing so whatever I tell chpt it won't be fed to train the model it is quite handy that it REM certain things so that it can give me better answers we all okay with memory all good can I go back now to the lady who asked me do I and should should I need should I set up an account and what are the benefits thanks for your thumbs up well firstly if you can come in here without an account but now anything any of your previous chats they're not on the left hand side there is no memory it won't remember anything because every time you go in as like a brand new person also you can't switch off that data sharing permanently because you don't have an account whatever you're telling it is public and you won't be able to do what I'm about to tell you which is Taylor chat GPT to you Jenny's giving me a thumbs up yeah Jenny I'm all for privacy I'm not a big Tech guy I know I'm a very much a cynic and a skeptic I have absolutely no problem having a have an account with chap GPT it's a much better experience so if any of you are kind of oh I don't want an account May what do they know about me they'll only know what you want them to know okay and turn off your privacy turn on your privacy right if I have to keep telling it about my business I want to give you an example new chat I am I have an estate agent business in NIS County CLA act like an Instagram marketing expert and brainstorm printy ideas for Content let's just SC down well you could do property the week behind the scenes local business spot lights client testimonials before and after I'll be getting into this in more detail in the social media weeks um I know a bit about digital marketing so when I ask it any digital marketing question literally within a second or two I can tell whether that's a good answer or whether it's a load of all fluff and I'm being honest when I say most of the time I think that is an excellent answer I know nothing about an estate agent business I don't know those tips any good but if you're an estate agent you'd know if they were good so when you're looking at it judge it with your expertise next point is I asked it include lesser known tips well actually I'm an estate agent I should know this stuff it's not like we're students who've been given an assignment and we a clue so it would actually be better if I said include tips such as x y and Zed or a b c and d the next point is I've asked it to write like Evan but I really wouldn't take that and copy and paste it and send it out and I don't think you should either I'm just showing you how you can get the AI to write content for your digital marketing but my honest opinion is we are very quickly over the next 12 to 18 months heading to a place where a lot of people won't know was that written by AI or was it written by him or her you know and in a world where loads of things are written by AI you really will want to stand out as you know that was obviously written by him or her you want to retain that as part of your brand I know it might seem convenient oh we just copy paste that but actually I would just if you want use it as a starter you know sometimes it's easier to edit something and turn it into yours than it is to start with nothing not everybody's a good writer so that's my advice for you and for the rest of today whenever I say and you can get it to write I really mean you could get it to write a draft and then I think you should be taking that draft if you want and you know turning it into something that that you have written it's my honest view but all I can give you is my opinion so there were a few points if I have to keep telling it that I'm an estate agent in NIS and write like Evan and act like an expert it seems brilliant for the first few times but then after a while it just becomes a bit tedious and time consuming to constantly tell it that so would it be great if we could tell it about our business and how we wanted to do things once and then it always factors that in you can and it's called custom instructions so you would need to be logged in Click up here and there's an OP for customized chat GPT and there are some boxes you should fill in these boxes what should chat GPT call you if you don't want it to know your name at all then just don't put in your name I'm quite happy for it to call me Evan and it does sometimes what do you do I work for four-star hotel in Karne that's my example here or I am a life coach in uh NIS County Clair just tell it what you do professionally what traits should chpt have basically how would you like chat to respond I act like an expert marketer providing advice on how to plan and Implement our digital marketing always provide unique and interesting digital marketing ideas that are tailored to our hotel always provide answers in UK English not American always suggest three interesting follow-up questions I could ask you'd be amazed the uh the questions it would suggest and then you think oh that's a good follow-up question and then when I ask you to write always write in Evan's style I never again have to say right like Evan I never again have to say act like an expert it always will and then there's a fourth box anything else chat PT should know about you and this is where I definitely think you should tell it what you're comfortable telling it about your business I think you should tell it what type of business you have about your customers your target audience your marketing objectives what you're working on what's worked well Etc just give it context it'll then Factor all of that in so I'm telling it I work for a fourstar hotel in Kar there are 30 other hotels so it's very competitive our main customers are American Tourist golfers Irish families on a station our customer priorities are to increase bookings from Irish families followed by golfers won't read the whole thing out I have all this in your notes you can copy and paste it well you won't be you won't be pacing that in will you but you would tailor that to you I have a life coaching business in Kill Rush KY CLA it's quite competitive my customers are corporates whatever it is and then I'll go save now sometimes people have asked I know is to ask yourself what are the three or four things somebody is looking for in my product what are the three or four ways my product helps benefits people so let's go in here still using the free then say now write the text for this web page and ensure it is easily scannable because study show people don't read much text on a web page they only read 20% everybody's in a hurry everybody's scanning so headline bit of text White choose our washable dog sofas easily scannable ultimate Comfort built to last easy to clean features you love easily scannable okay so the way we approached that was we firstly make sure we understood what are the three things that people would be looking for we didn't start going in with it's this size and it's this weight and there this height that doesn't resonate with people it's how will they benefit what does our product or service have that would provide a solution for them then we got it at the headline and the body text now when it came to social media remember I got it to write a post and I said look even though I've asked it to write in EV style I really wouldn't copy and paste that and I don't think you should I'm saying for social media you know it's really up to you but when it comes to your web page I definitely would not copy and paste that because you will want your web pages found I up in Google and Google came out last year and said look we're not saying don't use AI to help you write text for web pages but we will scan your page and we will detect if it is largely written by Ai and if we have a choice between a page largely written by a human or largely written by an AI we will put the one with the human written by human high up and we won't put the one written by AI is high up and the reason is they don't want an internet full of billions of pages written by Ai and they're not sure is it even accurate because I'm now coming on to say quite often it's not accurate these AIS can make things up it's called hallucination now there's a few famous examples there was a a lawyer in America and he turned up in court defending his client cited all these cases and the judge looked at him and went where' you get those cases nobody's even heard of those cases like where'd you get them and he he to admited he got them in chat GPT chat GPT just made them up there was a journalist writing about corporate corruption and he cited all these cases in which Ernst and Young were guilty of corporate corruption and um the legal team young looked at and thought well where' you get all these like these these never happened so if you you're writing something if you're using chat GPT to research something and it really has to be factually accurate then you got to got to double check the facts for digital marketing I don't don't think you need to worry that much because I'm saying you can ask it to teach you how to grow your sales teach you how to use Instagram for marketing brainstorm ideas write some text you know factual accuracy I don't think is a big issue here in digital marketing uh but for other things you might be using it for it could be okay so you need to be aware that it can make stuff up they're getting better and better at not making stuff up but they can and Google doesn't want an internet full of that so they're being very clear now how would Google detect that something was written by an AI or written by a human and how would you detect because I'm often asked how could I tell if something was written by an AI so you could go to Google and do a search Chat GPT detector and there's some free tools here I typically use the second one and I can paste text in here and it will detect because it's been fed billions of bits of content written by AIS it knows how AI structure things Cadence Etc so I'm going to go back to chpt and I'm looking for teenagers and the woods today is one teenagers in in woods okay so remember this story or why don't I just take the text for our web page here Comfort durability and easy cleaning it's going to copy all that in go back to the AI detector paste it in detect text 71% AI GPT okay let's go back and let's put in the text I wrote in one of my posts here detect text your text is human written 0% AI GPT and if a free tool can do that you can be sure that when Google sends a spyer to your website and it scans the text it's checking does this look like it was written by an AI and what they're telling us is if they think it's largely written by an AI with little human input they're going to devalue it in the search results so what I'm saying is definitely use if you want an AI to help you understand what is it that people will be looking for in the product or service that I'm offering then you could absolutely use it for headlines no problem at all but then don't just copy and paste the text look at it as an initial draft that you should rewrite and then normally asked how much do I need to rewrite well I'm saying rewrite is enough so that when you paste it back into that tool it doesn't say 75% or 80% it'll say something like maybe 10% AI written 90% human that's the test can I ask are we all okay with that does that make sense to you y it's absolutely brilliant at helping you understand what you should have on your web pages but then don't just copy and paste if you want to be found in Google and I think you want to be found in Google okay great I'm now going to move on and show you what's in the oh yeah one other thing I definitely need to tell you is in the free version and it's quite recent and it's called search GPT now this only launched in J December and it was in the in the paid version up until two or three weeks ago but then it rolled out to the free version so here there's a little option that says search and when you click on search You're Now using what's called search GPT now to help you understand this uh I'm going to to compare I'm going to demonstrate a tool called perplexity could you give me a thumbs up if you have used perplexity perplexity doai anybody thumbs down Gabrielle okay nobody right I've pretty much stopped using Google me personally even in business as well I've stopped using Google um and I'm going to demonstrate why I'm going to Google and uh I'm a man united fan so I search for latest Man United news and what Google gives me are links to very relevant web pages that it feels would have the latest Man United news now I would need to go into each of these Pages like this and you know when you go into Pages these things pop up do you accept cookies videos are popping up I'm scrolling through this article things are kind of loading honestly these days it can be hard work browsing because have you noticed the journalism has gone so bad all the headlines are like clickbait and then when you click into something they know what you're looking for for so they hide it down near the bottom so you have to look at all the ads I it's all deliberate stuff so they've all this fluffy stuff at the start of the article and it's quite frustrating actually however let's just think about what Google is doing here it's saying yeah here you go Evan here are lots of links to articles and for 2025 years that was brilliant because that's all we knew but I instead and I do every day go to perplexity doai which is an AI search engine and it's free to use as many times as you want and what it does is it goes off and it researches all the recent news it summarizes synthesizes and it tells me what the latest Man United news is it saves me having to go off and do it and then everything it tells me has a source and I can click through and read that Source if I want and it'll show me all the sources up here I'll go back to Google and I'm interested said what is the latest meta share price and what is driving it well Google will give me lots of links to pages that it thinks would give me this information but I have to go off and do the work instead I would go to perplexity I'd ask it the same question it will go off scan all the Articles within a couple of seconds SU ize and synthesize that's the share price Google didn't tell me that uh and then it tells me all the things that are driving it and then if I'm interested in it I can read the sources it's the complete inverse of what Google is doing Google is saying off you go here are the links perplexity is saying I will go through all the links I will scan it I will figure it all out and I will give you the answer it's the difference between using a noia phone and then the iPhone came along and everybody thought well why would I use the noia phone now when this is so much better and once you experience this you really don't want to go back to Google Now chat GPT understand that this is where search is going I mean this is what we will all be doing this is what we will all want once people start doing it so they understand that so they introduced search GPT now before search GPT chat GPT really was a large learning model it had been fed everything from the internet books magazines it just wasn't very good on up-to-date stuff and quite often that the information that it was fed ended you know March 2024 and if you asked it about current stuff it often wasn't very good so really those are spect and one end of the spectrum are these large learning models incredibly creative brainstorm write something teach me all the things that I've been showing you incredible but not great at upto-date stuff then the other end of the spectrum you have perplexity absolutely brilliant at giving you search results about upto-date stuff and now chat GPT has created a search GPT which is just like perplexity it's just around 18 months behind it it's not as polish looking so I'm now in churchy PT and I'll click on search and I'll ask the same question what is the meta share price and what is driving it and it's not going to give me a whole list of links it's going to tell me what the share price is and what are the things driving it and then there are sources that I can go off and read and double check if I want but it's telling me but it's all very very accurate now before I tell you any more in it can I ask is this making sense to everybody are you following this it's a fundamental shift on where search is going because actually once you understand that this is possible why would I go to Google and search for best familyfriendly hotels in Kar and Google just gives me a whole list of web pages wouldn't I want to go to perplexity and it would tell me why these are the best familyfriendly hotels so I go to perplexity new thread by the way I'm using the free version Auto auto is the free version and you can use it as many times as you want every day and the answers are brilliant you could pay for it now I'm normally signed in not in this browser I would sign in normally it's a better experience when you sign in but I'm going to say which are the best family friendly hotels in count Clair it'll go off it'll scan it'll do research here are the some of the best family-friendly hotels in County CLA the Woodstock under the menu and there's the green circle when you tap on it everything that was in the desktop version is here as well so I could go data controls when I go data controls this is you know improve the model for everyone I have it switched off and actually whatever you do on the desktop also feeds through to your mobile version because you're logged in on the desktop and you're logged in on the mobile another reason why you would create an account so I'm logged in with the same account so whatever questions I asked on the desktop well they're now available for me on the mobile and vice versa whatever settings I set up personalization you know custom instructions um privacy I switch things on or off there on the desktop there switch on or off in the mobile then down here pencil is new chat and then I would type in whatever I want to say this is search if I want GPT search I tap on GPT search now there's a microphone and there's this thing that's enhanced voice I'm going to explain that Francine do you mean when Google scans your website and detects that there was AI involvement is that what you mean do let me know before I answer yes okay it would be okay you see these these two to aren't exactly 100% accurate either and even though I 100% know I wrote that myself if it came up and it said this is 10% AI it kind of would surprise me because you know they're not 100% accurate so I would say anything up to around 20% AI think about it 20% AI written means 80% human involvement for Google that's that's a lot you know if you get it to 20 25% AI 75% human that' be fine but it's when it's up there at 80 90 95% AI That's a big gome hope that makes sense here right now moving on to the paid version of chat GPT and uh I'm showing you these things because this is really where AI is going and um also remember I said that there are alternatives to chat GPT Gemini Microsoft co-pilot now I won't be able to them today but the local Enterprise office Claire runs a course called an within the next two months right then we have the ability to create images so at the start of the course today I said I said you should be looking at me now if you're not looking at me do let me know um there are these generative AIS that have been fed billions of bits of text that really is chat PT then those AIS that have been fed billions of images and trained in the images well open ai's equivalent of that is dally and then what they did 18 months ago is they integrated D into chat GPT so all I've got to do is ask chat GPT to create an image and a will so I could go I'm using the paid version and I could say create an image of a blue BL Oren vas with yellow daffodil because I asked it to create an image it will now some of you might be wondering well why would I want to do that why would I want to use an AI to create an image because maybe you want an image that isn't readily available in a stock image Library so it's taking a bit of time here it's a bit slow today where's my image it's currently experiencing high demand brilliant normally wouldn't have any problem with that and then I'd say actually place it on a black granite worktop in a kitchen with sunlight streaming in the window 0 clock in the background and wood so my point is you can do that I'm going to give you a very quick demonstration of uh Gemini because I wasn't able to demonstrate it there it is free in Gemini go to Google search for Gemini I also have the link to Gemini in your notes click on the first result you're now in Google's equivalent of chat GPT it's called Gemini and I could go create an image of a blue porcelan vas with yellow daffodils in a kitchen with a black granite worktop so as much detail as you want I know this is littered with typos but it will it'll figure out what I want there and if you know a little bit about these AIS up until two weeks ago was using image in two now it's using image in three it's a better tool create an image of a black and tan daxon on a purple Lila in a swimming pool eyes looking at the camera this is a more complicated one because the vas is not moving there's no face there's no emotion there's no limbs so really the test of these kind of tools is when you ask it to create something that involves faces emotions limbs they need to get everything right and it also needs to be photorealistic I think that's a very good job and what I'm saying to you is it's very noticeable to me how improved that Google Imaging tool is just in the last couple of weeks so if you want a tool that creates images just based on your descriptions Google is brilliant Google Gemini for any of you who know a bit about canva canva have an amazing one it's called dreamlab I'll be demonstrating that for you later in the course could Gemini create an image of the goat in the form or style of the child's drawing great question here you can't yet attach an image and say do it in this style I won't be able to show you today but I will be showing you canva in week three and if you go to canva for any of you who use canva in my experience 70% of you will use canva go down here to dreamlab and when you go here I could add an image and it says style reference so I could add an image of the child's drawing and then ask it to create an image of a goat or I could ask it to create an image of the dxent okay that's my answer null hope that has answered your question right so we now know that even though we was busy today chat GPT allows you to create images and Gemini does as well there are tools out there that would allow you to create videos and uh the best ones to date have been Runway and Pika but then chat GPT launched its video one before Christmas and then rolled it out to Ireland just two weeks ago so I can use it because I have the paid version of chat PT this is not Gemini this isn't for free in gemini or copil or anything this is specific now to chat GPT so I'm going to go back to chat GPT and on the left hand side here it says Sora so the parent company is called open AI their text AI is chat GPT their image AI is called dially and their video AI is called sora that's just what you need to get your head around and Sora is their video one that they've integrated so because I'm logged in with the paid version I see Sora up here and I click on takes me into Sora if I go to featured they will show me some videos that other people have created these are videos the people have created some are go to top and uh you know I click on this one smoking trout underwater now sometimes people have said to me there's a lot of weird videos here but they also want to showcase what this can do you know somebody probably said I want to now listening to headphones beside a Motorway I want pirate skeletons in a fish tank or something okay I'm going to come down here describe your video I'm going to say a black and T daxon on a purple Lila in a swimming pool its eyes look at the camera what shape do I want the video 16 by9 landscape Square 9 by6 portrait let's go landscape what resolution just to make it quick I'm going to go 480 what length keep it quick I'm going to go 5 seconds I just want two videos keep it quick and then I'm going to click it's now added to a relaxed Q not just a queue a relax queue it's interesting now I already have done this before which allows me to kind of show you stuff I asked for a black and tand daxon lying in a purple Lilo and that's what it came up with I think that's very good terms of quality and you might be wondering well why would I want an AI to create a video for me on week six I'll be showing you how to edit your own marketing videos and I'll demonstrate to you that if you're making a video video where you were talking to the camera you really should overlay footage about what you're talking about it'll bring the video to life more and it'll keep people's attention or you might want to make a voiceover video lots of little Clips but you don't have a lot of these clips so you can just ask the AI to create the clips now also when you're asking a prompt you can attach a file upload and I attached that handbag and I said I want a video of a woman in her 30s walking out of a lady's Boutique wearing this handbag they gave me two videos this is the first one I have studied it it it looks exactly like that handbag to me they gave me a second one that looks like the handbag to me very impressive it I attached that image of a man walking on the beach and I said I want a video of this man walking on the beach they gave me some options this is one of the videos so we now know that there are tools that will create an image based on just your description and you can in some of the tools attach an image as a style reference and now chpt has Sora where you can just describe what I want a dog and AO and it'll create it for you I think brilliantly actually or you can attach an image and it will create a video of whatever you attach in the image and it'll place it in the video can I ask did everybody follow that are you all okay with that great okay I think I've answered no's question great what else have we got in the paid they have deep research and deep research is when it will create a far more detailed answer for you so when you ask chat GPT something it goes off and it comes up with an answer and in particular if you use GPT search it might look at 10 12 sources but if you use deep research it will take much longer and it's going to come up with a far more comprehensive report like we could be talking three or four pages based on so many different sources so if you have a question and that question could be I have a ladies Boutique in Ireland analyze the boutique Market in Ireland explaining recent and future Trends and explain how some of uh how some of the these boutiques have been using digital marketing you're going to get an absolutely brilliant report or I have a ladies Boutique and um I'd like you to provide a very comprehensive digital marketing plan our monthly budget is1 150o for digital marketing we do XY and Z you know really give it some context come up with a very detailed it'll do amazing research a personal example here is uh I have a son who uh um he's very much into soccer he plays with the carry under 20s as a goalie and he's got quite a bad injury at the moment and uh we don't know is it going to be so serious that he won't be able to play soccer anymore but he's been told by everybody all the doctors this is very rare like people don't know much about this at all which is a bit dispiriting so when you when you Google it you're not getting much information you're just getting links and links and links so I just went to deep research and I said uh a 20-year- old or an 18-year-old goalkeepers being diagnosed with this um do a very comprehensive analysis of the likelihood that he can recover what's involved in recovery also tell me what Specialists are available in Ireland in the UK also give me examples of sports people who have suffered from this and come back it was an amazing report like incredible I went oh my God deep research that is available and perplex it just be aware so in perplexity when you go over here you are using it free that's Auto you'll get brilliant answers for everyday things if you go pro and you can use Pro three times a day for free you'll get even better answers it will use more sources you get better answers or you can use deep research which is off the charts in terms of the detail like I explained to you you can use that three times a day for free so if you're on the free version of chat GPT you don't get to use deep research but you could go over to perplexity there and use it okay also in the paid version they have a thing here by clicking the drop down I have GPT 40 which schedu tasks beta I could say every morning rainstorm three ideas for Instagram posts for my hair salon in NS CL I'll click submit every morning I will get an email from Chachi p with we have updated your task I click on the result and it'll take me in there now I have some of these set up I want to and need to keep up with the world of AI so I say every evening at 8 o' update me on what has happened with open AI Gemini Microsoft copal Etc every day gives me This brilliant summary I need to keep up with Facebook Instagram meta I I have one of these scheduled tasks it gives me an update because I ask for it I could say every Friday evening give me an update on these competitors okay whatever your competitors are tell me if any of these competitors were in the news anything at all that's that's useful about their business that's interesting that is happen happened in the last week you can use it in all sorts of ways think of it like as a scheduled reminder but a reminder where it goes off and does stuff for you so you could use it for your digital marketing you get a daily daily bit of inspiration about social media posts then of course if you saw one of those you go oh that's a good one yeah need to send out a post today and then you say you know help me write this and then it will did somebody put up their hand Jenny how are you Jenny you okay Jenny Jenny basses maybe it was a thumbs up you okay I can't oh yeah yeah yeah can you just recap on the scheduled tasks how we how I'd find those in the paid GPT yeah do you have the paid version Jenny no not at the moment I don't okay so I'm getting persuaded yeah right well scheduled tasks I think is really yeah useful it is so up here because I'm in the paid version you know let me just let me just come over to the free version right in the free version uh where's thing yeah I have so many things open box like flying a plane um right chat GPT when I click on the drop down I'm in the free version I just get upgrade to chat GPT Plus or use chat GPT that's it you know you're using chpt or you can upgrade that's in the free version but in the paid version you get an awful lot more for example and I click on it I can use 40 which is their you know big model then I could use 40 with scheduled tasks by the way just in the last week they've release 4.5 which is even better than 40 so on the paid version you always get the best models and 40 with scheduled tasks is here and when you click on it you can ask it for a scheduled task and and you just write something like every Monday at nine o'clock do this or every Friday evening or every morning hope that has answer the question thank you it's amazing yeah okay now we're nearly finished folks it's four minutes to go and um Gabrielle can AI scan YouTube video content to generate summaries like you can for articles Gemini cat this brand new thing they've got out all you got to do it's one of their models when you hit the dropdown thing as you ask me I'm going to tell you so we go over here to Gemini new chat when I click on the little dropdown Gemini flash would be their normal model which is brilliant flash thinking experimental I explain what that is in the other course it's very powerful but then flash thinking experimental with apps reasoning across YouTube Maps and search so if I wanted to analyze that YouTube video I'd select that then I'd go to YouTube I'd find a video diary CEO I love monday.com what's monday.com you don't okay this so quite a long video public speaking expert this is speaking mistakes Mak people ignore you so I'll go share copy then I'd go back to Gemini and I'd say summarize the main points in this video paste in the link and it'll go off and it will scan the video figure out what what was in it and then it will give me a summary the video featuring Communications expert explains how someone could become a
