Why is it when I'm doing leg raises, this guy comes up to me and he's like, oh, can I come in and in between your rest, I can do my set, then you can do yours. So basically, this guy came up to me asking if him and I could work out together, like just a random man. And I'm just like...
There is absolutely nothing wrong with politely asking somebody to work in. And that's the way it's always been in gyms. And also note, working in with someone is not the same as working out with someone. You're simply sharing that machine with him for that exercise alone. And most people will take one to two minutes of rest between sets, some longer when setting up a camera to take a video like this.
So why not use that time to allow someone to use that machine, especially the one that you're on? I bet you there's only one of those in your gym. I will always let somebody work in. You don't have to do that, but you definitely don't have to make a video attacking him for it or acting like this isn't normal gym etiquette because it is.
So to this young woman, I hope the next time somebody asks you to work in, you're nice enough to let them and you don't make a video to complain about it. Have a great week, everyone.
