The VAC Ultra 4 Therapy System is the latest in negative pressure technology.
Provides four distinct therapies in one device, simplifying processes and training.
Home Screen Features
Four color-coded buttons, each representing a different therapy.
Therapy initiation involves pressing the corresponding color-coded button.
Default settings can be changed using plus/minus buttons or advanced settings.
Initiating VAC Therapy
Attach the canister (500 or 1000 ml) to the unit.
Press the light blue VAC Therapy button.
Confirm default settings by pressing the green OK button.
Use the Seal Check Leak Detector to proceed to the active therapy screen.
Veraflow Therapy
Combines negative pressure wound therapy with automated wound instillation and removal.
Ideal for infected, chronic, non-healing wounds.
Requires:
Attaching the Veralink cassette for solution storage and delivery.
Spiking and attaching the solution container to the cassette.
Initiating via the dark blue Veraflow therapy button.
Fill Assist Process
Consists of three steps:
Prepare dressing seal to minimize leakage.
Fill the wound with solution until a thin layer covers the wound.
Confirm volume settings, considering wet dressings require less fluid.
Provina Therapy
Manages and protects surgical incisions.
Provides a barrier to contamination, removes fluids and infection, reduces edema.
Initiation involves:
Pressing the purple Provina therapy button.
Confirming settings, ensuring seal integrity via the Seal Check screen.
AB Thera Therapy
Temporary abdominal closure management.
Features:
Removes peritoneal fluid, reduces edema, provides medial tension.
Initiation:
Press the green AB Thera therapy button.
Adjust pressure (100-150 mmHg) and confirm settings.
Note that leak alerts do not turn off the unit.
