hey guys Carl King here King print design I just wanted to run show y'all for those of y'all that was at UV energize and y'all were asking me about my process of prepping a Tumblr I'm fix going to show you real quick this is all I do so this is Tumblr I've already opened it up got it out of the package took my lid off so what I'm going to do is I've got a this rag right here is a I think it's like the Tiger Claw rag or something it's a it's anti-static rag but I soak it real good with alcohol I'm gonna wipe the Tumblr down the reason I do it with alcohol first and that is ever clear that I'm using but the reason I do the cleaning first is because I want to get any kind of debris that might be on it from packaging I do recommend wearing rubber gloves just because I will be using red hot as well so the things you need is a you need a good lintree cloth this is antistatic this is my cleanings with which is ever clear my bottle of red hot for PDS that's my adhesion promoter and then you need you a little flame for flame treating so I've got them too usually I'll go ahead and do all my tumblers like a case at a time for cleaning I'll clean them all that way it gives the alcohol a little bit time it evaporates and you don't have anything left behind then I'll take my Flame and I'll flame treat it now you can't see it in the video it's really hard but you will see like a little line of I think it's just like moisture but it's opening it up you'll kind of see that a little slight change on the tumbler I'm going go ahead and do this one as well but it see you're not hanging around long you're just walking it around the cup put a little heat to it and you want it to open up so so that's what I do for that then you want a limp free rag I use the rags like we do for cleaning our printers get the rag this one I've been using already this morning so it's got a little stuff on it but all you need is just a little dib just a little bit on there take the tumbler and if you know your exact spot you don't have to do it all the way around I just do it all the way around because I don't I don't spend the extra time of worrying about where it's at so that's one usually I can get about two cups worth of prep and then for there if I was going to do more I'd probably put me a couple drops on there that's all there is to it that's what I use so cleaning agent ever clear my red hot little torch for flame treating there you go
