Steps to Deactivate Your Facebook Account

1. Open the Facebook App

   • Available on iPhone or Android.

2. Access the Menu

   • Select the menu button located in the bottom right corner of the app.

3. Open Settings

   • Tap the gear icon in the top right corner to access settings.

4. Navigate to Account Center

   • The first section labeled "Account Center."
   • Select "See more" in the Account Center.

5. Account Settings

   • Scroll down and select "Personal Details."
   • Choose the last option: "Account Ownership and Controls."

6. Deactivation or Deletion

   • Select the last option: "Deactivation or Deletion."
   • Choose the Facebook profile you wish to deactivate.

7. Choose Deactivation Option

   • Options:
     • Temporary Deactivation
     • Permanent Deletion
   • Ensure "Deactivate Account" is selected for temporary deactivation.

8. Continue Process

   • Scroll to the bottom and select "Continue."
   • Note: If you own any Facebook pages as the only admin, those pages will also be deactivated.

9. Enter Password

   • Enter your password to confirm deactivation.
   • Select "Continue."

10. Completion

• Your Facebook account will now be deactivated.
