Market Trends and Retail Investor Strategies

We are experiencing a major shift in the market, especially from last week, because retail investors are fully back. And you don't have to take my word for it. Just look at, for example, the top coin rankings by performance over the past seven days. You see we have XRP, Cardano, Stellar, Polkadot, Tezos, Sandbox, Decentraland, Algorand, all of these legacy coins. The coins that popped a lot in the 2021 cycle but are not popular on crypto Twitter. These are the strongest performers over the past two weeks. In the meantime, the crypto natives and the degens on Twitter are still fighting in the trenches. And they are trading meme coins on Solana. But they can't even get their coins above $20 million in market cap without dumping and then having a new coin being born from zero to go to $10 to $20 million again. It's really PVP in the meme coin trenches now. So I think we are just about to have a major wave of liquidity coming into the mainstream coins from real everyday investors who have not checked in on their crypto portfolio for three years. So in this live stream, I will go over exactly how to identify these coins with the main criteria. I believe I have listed seven on a spreadsheet and I'll also give you my top picks. Taking into account these criteria and the ones that I see have the strongest potential to continue to run in this bull run. So make sure to watch till the end as I'll give you my topics in that format. And if you have any questions, please leave them down in the chats and we will do a Q&A at the very end. Okay, so welcome everyone. If you're new here to the channel, my name is Dennis. I'm a crypto angel investor for the past six years, and I have invested in over a hundred crypto startups. On this channel, I share views on market trends and investing strategy to build wealth in crypto. Now, really quick, let me just show you the big split between the market right now. So when you are on browsing crypto Twitter and CT, it's all about meme coins. People are saying, oh, like everyone. that's coming into crypto today is going in through pump fun and they are trading memes but just hear me out here you look at some of the most popular memes for example this one that i'm in right now i've tweeted about it before like flower ai this is a very advanced ai agent that trades in the trenches uh tracks wallets very ct way right it tracks solana wallets who is aping what and then it makes a trade using ai agent tweets about it you streams about it, you know, and then tries to create its own dashboard. So it's a DAO. It does all of this, right? It's a 20 million market cap. So it sounds very epic, right? But why is it not huge? In the meantime, what's actually popular? Well, you have Stellar Lumens, one of the most mid-curve coins that have a huge legacy, honestly, from 2014. But this week... look at this crazy growth on it uh over the past two weeks when you look at look at its market cap since november 6th until today november 24th the past 18 days this coin has seen 10 billion dollars of market cap inflow and this is real circulating market cap this is not new tokens being unlocked from fdv this is real buying pressure coming into this coin i can tell you right now like you ask 100 people on crypto twitter 99 of them have never owned x stellar and they're not going to so who is buying these coins and also why is there 10 billion dollars of liquidity injection into this And you can see the same across many of these top performers in the seven day, in the 30 day period. Tezos, nobody on CT is buying Tezos. Nobody on CT is buying Sandbox. Maybe some HBAR, some DOT, but you get what I'm saying here. So this is the big split. You have billions and billions of real retail coming in with their liquidity into these mainstream coins, but they're not buying the memes. So I have sold the majority of my memes last night when I started to really see this happening. And that's why I wanted to make this video right away for you guys so that I show you, you know, where I see the top down approach happening now and where the liquidity is rotating into, which is, again, that money flow chart. Right. You have Bitcoin going to large cap, mid cap, low cap. But. People are really not trading in the trenches, not the new retail audience. So what are they buying? And let me just show you the criteria that I think is very important here. So I have nine criteria that I have listed here that I think makes a lot of sense. You have to, I'll walk you through it and why I think these are the main things you want to look out for. This comes from being in this market for three cycles now, starting from a complete beginner to Kind of getting into like a list of coins that you first have access to, to now, you know, being able to position myself in the shoes of my own retail friends and people that have actually reached out to me, my, you know, real life friends over the past two weeks, the kind of coins that that they always go back to. And we're talking about like even friends of family friends from my mom's side. Right. What kind of coins? do they end up buying even at the peak of the bull run because remember these guys they are never going to buy meme coins on solana it's too technical for them so here are the criteria that i see so number one it's got to be in the top 100 coins this is not because you know of some bias right people start from the top very simple these guys don't they don't care about market cap they don't even know that the coins are ranked by market cap, ranked by how big the coin already is. Most people never go into the 200s. So number one. Number two, it's got to be one of the narratives that are already popular from last cycle. So layer one, for sure. AI, for sure. And gaming, for sure. These three have all popped before. Now gaming, you have to extend that to metaverse, right? Some people... got in through Axie Infinity with Gaming Narrative. Others got in through like Sandbox, Centralland through Metaverse. So that's kind of together. Number three, it's gotta be trading on some of the retail apps. We're not talking about, you know, like a KuCoin or even like Bybit. It's gotta be Coinbase. And much better if it's on Robinhood or PayPal, Venmo, what's the other one, Cash App. You know, I looked at all of them, but the downside here is that PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, they don't trade most altcoins. Cash App only has Bitcoin and Venmo and PayPal only has Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, I believe Ethereum Classic. So you don't have much choices there. So that's why I think Robinhood is actually a very good distinction here and it gives us a good list. So that's why I have a list of Robinhood coins I'll show you guys here. And then number four criteria, you got to prioritize the coins with a low unit bias. What I mean by that is you compare a coin on the top list. If you see a coin that's, let's say, $30 multiverse X versus a coin that is $1 XRP versus a coin that is 4 cents V-chain, the retail audience, they always prefer the coins with a low unit price. Very important. This is just a matter of like this bias, this misunderstanding is going to continue. You ask your parents, right? People that have not gotten into crypto before. You show them Ethereum at $3,000, XRP at $1. They're going to prefer XRP because they don't understand what market cap is. Very simple. Now, you don't have to go super extreme and say, oh, the coin has to be, you know, one tenth of a cent. I think anything that's in the few dollars to few cents to maybe 10 cents to 50 cents range, that's all fair game. I don't want to buy coins in the hundreds of dollars unless they're absolutely really good. So that's the unit bias. For most advanced people, advanced investors that have been in crypto for long, this doesn't matter. But for retail, it really is a big difference. Number five important criteria, you gotta focus on coins that have a large potential gain to their previous all-time high. So what I mean by that is you look at the chart for example on Algorand This popped a lot, but already like you go on your Coinbase, your Coinstats, your Coinmarket, whatever, and then you go on the all time chart. What people start to see, especially on that Coinbase chart, right, when it's really compressed and because like on Coinbase, they don't even have logarithmic chart. So even though we know in crypto, uh you know experienced investors we know to look at the log chart and say okay this has already popped quite a bit most retail apps they don't have this feature so what ends up happening is you just see the kind of the current price since 2022 has been compressed into a flat line like here and then all they see is oh wow this is so cheap compared to previous price because previous price is a huge shoot-up right and you see the same on stellar for example uh zoom out all time you see this is why you know everyone flooded into this right look at the price chart here it's all compressed to a single line and then uh retail audience they open up their coinbase app and they see wow like this is so cheap now because for the past two years it has been in this format and look at this uh sudden price growth in 2020 2020 you Exactly four years before, even better. So November 2020, it shot up from $0.08 to $0.64. And November 2024, it starts shooting up from $0.09 to now $0.48. So they don't think about it too much. They see this happening before, they want to buy it. Because they see Bitcoin is going to $100K. They know, okay, there's kind of a crypto wave going on. What has happened four years ago is probably going to happen again. So that's why you want to prioritize coins that are very far away from their previous all-time high so that the past two years of bear market just looks like a flat line. And you don't have to open up each of these charts. There is a tool called Live Coin Watch, which is able to tell you the percentage difference between current price to previous all-time high. And that gives you a short list, which I'll show you guys in a bit. So that's the number five criteria. Number six, the more centralized exchange listings for the coin, the better for a retail audience, because retail audience do not trade on decentralized exchanges, especially not on Uniswap. So we don't want to buy any coins that are only on decentralized exchanges or heavy DeFi coins. Not a good idea. Solana coins maybe are okay, but that's still like a little bit down the line. So no DEX coins, only centralized exchange coins. And the more large centralized exchange listings, the better. Number seven, you want them to appeal to an English speaking audience. Because remember, the last cycle was mainly driven by English speaking audience. So you want to prioritize coins that have a kind of Silicon Valley sounding name, common English word, and then you read that word and then... you understand what that word is and you have a sense of like okay this word represents a certain type of technology whether that's gaming or a blockchain or finance or like ai or decentralized computing so something that's easy to understand just from the ticker alone number seven number eight you want to prioritize that the coins that were popular that popped really big in the 2021 bull cycle. This means a lot of people would have gotten into these coins late in 2021. but they still have it at the back of their mind. So when I think back three, four years ago, when we had kind of the Thanksgiving dinner in 2020 and 2021, what kind of coins were my parents and my high school friends, they were asking me about? Obviously, they were Doge, Shiba Inu. so well those are the only two memes back then but they also ask about cardano xrp stellar polka dot you know like um yeah it wasn't really solana yet um angoran for example uh chain link right these coins that people just only remember from a name and they remember oh like four years ago when crypto popped uh it had this major bull run these coins went up a lot and then they remember these names and they open up their coinbase app the first time over the past three years and they type in the few names that they remember maybe sandbox decentralized if they got in a bit later around the metaverse hype so you want to focus on the coins that made the major name for themselves in the 21 21 bull market this usually corresponds to them having a lot high previous all-time high because that means like really it made like a big splash and a lot of people heard of the name because the markup shot up a lot and then lastly if you can you want to prioritize the coins that are similar to the first mover narratives like solana being a hyper fast hyper scalable chain for trading you have xrp which is like for for banking for cross-border payments for cbdc's for large financial institutions maybe rwas And then you have Cardano, again, alternative layer one, similar to Ethereum killer. People are still going to go back to that. And then you have Sui, which is hyperscalable. This time around, it's like Solana competitor. So when you prioritize this, it wouldn't be immediately obvious. But these four types of comparisons will give you some of the coins that have staying power in this cycle. So this is the last criteria that. I have on this list. So with these nine criteria, you focus on them. I think you can have a really good time in this retail wave. Now. Look at what I didn't include here, which is how high the market cap is or tokenomics or fundamentals, because really that doesn't matter for a retail audience. When I have an auntie asking me this, they're never going to ask me, what do you think about the tokenomics of Cardano? Or what do you think about the fully valued valuation of Solana? Or which blockchain do you think is faster? They're never going to ask that. So you don't want to think about that too much. There will be a time for that, but right now is not the time to consider this. So, okay, with that being said, let's go into the actual list. And keeping these nine criteria on the back of our head, here is how I'm tackling this. So the first starting point, we want to narrow. down some of the coins. So right away you have the top 100. So the tool I'm gonna use is Live Coin Watch. So Live Coin Watch, it's not the best portfolio tracker or anything, but the main thing that it really excels in is this layout format. So on the basis, the Live Coin Watch is like a lighter version of CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap. but it really lets you customize what you want to see in the columns. So you see here, I have previous all-time high and the percentage gain to previous all-time high. So how many Xs of return could you see if the coin goes back to previous all-time high? I have the coin age, 7-day and 30-day price change and the charts. And I have how many exchanges have this listed. So these are... very similar to the criteria we have listed earlier right and i even took out market cap because honestly i don't even want to consider that okay so then i have all the coins here and i just go down the list i went down to about top 120 to 150 range because depending on which type of portfolio tracker or which exchange you look at the top 100 coins will not be so consistent so i went a little bit over top 100. And then what I did is I used this favorite format. So this tool here lets you like take the little heart and then you can put them into a basically a temporary watch list for your favorite coins that you want to compare. And here are some of the coins I listed out. and here now they are filtered by my favorite so okay i'm not going to show you this full list yet because there is a lot of coins here how many are here um doesn't really show me i think there is like a solid 50 coins here uh 40 40 ish so in order to narrow this down i think let's go from the uh pop-up right so we don't want to crowd ourselves 10 solid targets i think is kind of all you need spanning across the layer 1 ai and gaming categories So a really good starting point is the current coins that are offered on Robinhood. Because remember, the PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, they don't offer enough. They only offer the main ones. Coinbase offers everything. So if you only want to target coins on Coinbase, well, Coinbase has a few hundred coins. You can't buy all of them. That's why Robinhood is a very good target because Robinhood specifically targets the US audience, English speaking, and mainstream investors. This is what Robinhood does best. And they have right now 41 coins. You can just Google Robinhood offered crypto coins list. And here are the coins that you can buy and sell on Robinhood. all of them here and i took these and then i put them into a spreadsheet and i'm going to show you here 40 coins exactly and then i put them into a category to filter. So the categories I have here are DeFi layer one or layer two slash infrastructure, meme coin, legacy coins such as Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic. ai coin and gaming coin and then stablecoin usdc obviously you don't want it so and then i can filter by the categories here so i'm gonna clear everything and i only am interested in layer 1 gaming and ai Okay, and here we go. I have narrowed that down to 18 coins. Very good. And then out of this list, I know which ones have already pumped a lot, right? Obviously, if you want to buy XRP, you can go ahead, right? So But I'm not going to, you know, XRP will continue to pump, just a matter of fact. But, you know, everyone kind of already caught on at this point. So we have XRP in that list. We have Cardano. We have Stellar. We have... Um, I would also exclude Solana here because Solana is more of a long-term hold. I don't think it's, it's also very big. I don't think it's necessarily going to only benefit from this retail wave. So I'm not going to include Solana in this like short-term rotation. And. that's good so i'm gonna cross out these four so that's a pretty good short list okay cosmos avax polka dot eos phantom graph immutable x decentralized near render sandbox celestia tong tezos now i can go down a little bit more nuanced i apply my own knowledge understanding each of these coins to see which ones people are more likely to be attracted to so i will cross out cosmos right away because Cosmos team really isn't pushing much anymore and also you can compare that on live coin watch also and I'm going to show you why I don't like Cosmos for example so here Cosmos two previous all-time high 4x that's not that high anymore of a of a percentage for example when you look at I'll go where's I'll go Here, this one still 11x away. So these are the kind of multiples you want to target, especially for coins that haven't really pushed at all in 2021. Cosmos was not popular even in 2021 bull market, right? So it doesn't fit this criteria. I'm going to take it out. Similar, EOS. I would take this one out. Again, it didn't even make a new all-time high in 2021. It was a 2017 coin, so I wouldn't consider that one. Tezos is very similar to EOS. It was slightly better in 2021, but still, it's kind of too legacy. They're not really doing anything anymore, so I would take that one out. Celestia also kind of... not that worth it because really Celestia is only less than two years old at this point one and a half years old most people that came into crypto in the 2021 wave do not know what Celestia is because Celestia was not a thing back then so i would also cross out celestia tong coin maybe uh tong coin was around but tong coin was not popular in 2021 so i i do think tong will come back but it will take a little bit more understanding from people that uh come into their existing coin uh that they already know so i don't think tong coin is going to catch a bit right away so cross that out Now we have a very good list, nine coins. You have AVAX, Polkadot, Phantom, The Graph for AI, Render for AI, Near for AI and Layer 1, and then IMX, Decentraland, Sandbox for gaming. Very good, right? So very simple. So I'm going to make a new list here, call it short list. Here you go. Okay, so you see what I'm saying here, right? Now this is a short list. These are the coins that haven't popped as much and are not as well known as XRP and Cardano, but they are offered on the exact same places, Robinhood, Coinbase. They appeal to the exact same audience, which are the English speaking people that remember a few tickers from 2021 and know that these are similar coins. in the back of their head because they know that they're either a layer one blockchain or gaming altcoin or AI altcoin and they are still very far from their previous all-time high just by checking that price history chart and that's all the things that they're going to do and they look at, oh XRP has already pumped, I've got to buy the next thing up, which is maybe one of these okay, so that's nine that are very obvious. So with this same thinking, now we can go into the actual coin rankings, right? And then we can go in and actually pick our favorites. So I'm going to organize this a bit more. I'm going to put some AI coins together. Layer one coins. I think Nier should be an AI coin now. And then we're going to do gaming coins right here. There you go. Okay. Nine here. I think there are some better ones that I want to personally add as well with this same thinking. So let me go down the list here. So let me bring up my own list. Here we go. So for later ones, honestly, AVAX is going to be the... Easiest bet, in my opinion. So checks all the boxes. Pretty much a flat chart, just starting to run. And you consider AVAX offered everywhere. AVAX is usually right after Solana. So whoever's into Solana is going to buy AVAX next. Layer one. Ethereum killer, hyperscalable blockchain, has gaming narrative, has AI narrative, very simple. So I definitely think AVAX is going to catch a bit very soon. Polkadot, unfortunately, people are going to buy Polkadot. So Polkadot doesn't have the fundamentals, right? I can tell you that right now. Nobody really trades on Polkadot. No projects are building on Polkadot. But... look at the chart right previous all-time high 50 bucks current price eight dollars people that's all the thinking that they're going to do they know what polka dot means as a word polka dot is a u.s centric project traded on all u.s major exchanges that's all the thinking people are going to do and usually the same people that got into xrp cardano they got into polka dot in 2021 so they're going to do the same rotation again you And then when they come back to this chart, they see, okay, December 2020, Polkadot had the run starting from $7 all the way to $50. And now Polkadot is at $8 again. They're going to make their own like. retail focus conclusion so honestly i don't even want to say it but polka dot has chance to go back to previous all-time high not because of fundamentals but just because of how retail thinks so there you go polka dot worth buying if we get the retail mania next one up phantom so phantom is right after you AVAX. If AVAX catches bid, if Polkadot catches bid, Fantom most likely catches bid. Very similar format like the typical way people look at these coins. The good thing about Fantom is very low unit bias less than one dollar so people are going to see exact same chart right 2021 20 cents to three dollars doing a 20x now one dollar to previous all-time high still about 3x away not as high of a multiple anymore so uh might not run right away Okay, so in the layer one category, there are definitely better alternatives to Phantom right now. So I went down the list and I picked out quite a few. So let me go down this list here. So near has already popped a bit. Something similar to HBAR. So when you look at HBAR, this is crazy of a chart. uh it's not too clear here yeah this is better h bar the reason why it popped is not because of fundamentals just like how polka dot pumped the reason why this pumped a lot is because it's offered on all the us exchanges and price chart looks like this very low consolidation for past two years since summer 2022 and then people see that it's less than 10 cents previous all-time high 40 cents people see oh wow like right away this can go 4x if the bull run starts so that's why they buy it very simple you want to find charts that are similar to this and i think one that's very obvious right now is algorand look at this completely compressed chart where the bottom is at 17 cent right now is 27 cent not too much uh difference from the bottom yet but previous all-time high $2 and then using live coin watch you go to algorand you see that algorand previous all-time high $3.20 current price 26 cents the percentage gain to previous all-time high is 11x this is what you want and also algorithm very low unit bias 26 cents so people will see this they will think it's cheap just because so algorithm i would definitely add it to the layer one category that can catch a bid for just how retail tends to think uh let's see what else do i have on layer ones sadly icp so um icp previous all-time high 490 dollars current price 11 dollars the percentage multiple to previous all-time high 44x so I mean, is ICP going to go to previous all-time high? Most likely not because it's way too high of a market cap. We know this, but retail audience, they don't care. So they see this, they're going to buy it and try to push it up to previous all-time high. So I will also put ICP here. And also it checks all the same boxes. ICP trading on most centralized exchanges in the US. It's the coin name, internet computer. checks everything, AI, decentralized computing, layer 1 blockchain, appeals to English speaking audience, checks all the right boxes, made a big splash for them in 2021, all the same category. Okay, and then in layer 1, let's see if I can point out anything else. I think Aptos Worth bidding. Now, you got to remember, Aptos was not around in the 2020 to 2021 wave. However, Aptos is the closest competitor to Suite. And Aptos has not run yet versus Suite. So I will put Aptos on here. And in fact, I'm going to give you a few more that are likely contenders for later. So aptos and I really think metis. What else do I have here? I think near but not immediately. Say And I think base. Base is definitely going to catch a bit. So you want to bet on base related coins. And Brett is the clearest example here because it's the main coin that everyone goes into once they get onto base so the difference between this type of versus the ones down here is that these ones are more crypto native they are less known from 2020 They didn't really make that huge of a splash on Coinbase in 2021, but they really built up since 2022 and they are more crypto native. So as people work down that money flow, they get on to the legacy coins that they know the names of, and then they will work their way down to some of the coins that made improvements over the last two years. And they start to realize, OK, these things are even cooler. So. out of this list right for example anyone that comes into the market using uh suite if i have sui right here i'm going to show you here so anyone that came into the market because they saw how crazy of a run suite has had they're gonna flood into aptos eventually because aptos is the exact same technology as suite it uses rust it uses the move programming language for smart contracts they have the same wallet infrastructure, and they see Aptos, lower market AptoSuite offered on the same exchanges, this rotation is going to happen later. You have Metis, which is technically layer one slash layer two infra. So Metis will only get a rotation once you have Ethereum start to pop and AVAX start to pop. So right after that, it's going to be Metis, it's going to be Phantom. You have Nier, which is also towards the end of the last bull run, even into 2022, that Nier started to get popular in the layer 1 category. And I think you got to see these layer 1s pop before Nier started to pop. Say also very similar. So Say is hyperscalable layer 1. Now it actually has a full-on EVM. Layer 1 blockchain that can support up to 10,000 transactions per second. So that takes a few things. You got to have Ethereum come back. You got to have at least AVAX come back. And then a direct competitor to AVAX is going to be SAI. Because it's EVM, it's hyperscalable. The same kind of coins that can be deployed, the projects that can be deployed on AVAX will also have similar alternatives on SAI. So it's going to be... driven by ct a bit more so i don't think say is going to get a bit right away but when you look at this market cap i mean two billion dollar market cap versus all of these others 10 billion plus a lot more upside for this uh so say and then also base so i think base is going to be huge this cycle as an ecosystem because again remember all of these retail audience They come in through Coinbase, but right now they only go in through Coinbase app and Coinbase exchange and they buy coins. Most people don't even know Coinbase has their own network because Coinbase doesn't have their own coin. Base will not have its own coin. So what's going to happen is they trade, trade, whatever, they use their Coinbase app and then Coinbase, the exchange app with smart wallets, with the coins that they list. will expose people to the coins trading on base. Now, right now, there are only a few things that the Coinbase team that they push. There's Aerodrome, which is the main decentralized exchange that they have a big stake in. That decentralized exchange coin is already at a billion dollar market cap. I don't think there's much upside there. You might as well buy Uniswap. I do think Brett, for example, very undervalued right now. So when you compare the different narratives that have going for Brett, Brett is directly comparable to things like Pepe, WIF, Bonk. There's not even any other meme coin that's bigger. WIF, Bonk is leading in Solana, right? So anyone that's in Solana, they're exposed to either WIF, Bonk, or maybe Popcat. Anyone that's exposed on Ethereum are in Solana. to either Pepe or maybe Shiba Inu, maybe Mog, maybe some others. But those are all a bit smaller. Anyone that's on the base ecosystem, there's only one meme. That's Brett. And Brett right now isn't even listed on Coinbase yet. So you haven't even seen the full wave of retail audience that's coming into Coinbase exchange using smart wallets. They are not even able to fully take advantage of this main meme coin. So there are so many different ways that people can come into Brett. For example, if you buy Pepe, Brett is the mascot, best friend of the Pepe character. This is one way. If you are coming in from Solana, if you're in Wythe, you're in Bonk, you see that Wythe and Bonk both pumped because Solana pumped. You want to rotate into base ecosystem for their retail audience. There's only Brett. Again, you come into Coinbase exchange, you have to buy one of the altcoins on base. because base doesn't have its own coin you either buy arrow you buy brett so my exposure on base is just going to be brett right now i do think this is going to rotate a bit later but this is pretty obvious to me at some point this is going to be heavily repriced up just look at how big whiff is bonk is brett should be in the same caliber So right now it's about 3x away from the markup of between Brett and Wiff and Bonk. Okay, so that's layer ones. Now going down the list, let's do gaming. So gaming coins, I know what you guys think, right? Oh, why don't we put like Beam or, you know, like... Okay. whatever, your favorite game coin. Why do we buy Decentraland sandbox? I would actually add freaking Axie here. Yeah, so unfortunately, you have to target these ones first because these are the coins that people know the retail audience they first got into from 2021. Because these guys, when they think crypto gaming, they're not going to buy Parallel Prime. They don't know what off the grid is. They don't know what like anything is like My Pet Hooligan, you know, whatever, like your actual games. All they know is Sam. Sandbox, Decentral, and Axie Infinity. Maybe Immutable, because Immutable is heavily focused in the US. So I will put Super here, because Super is honestly just very strong, fundamentally long-term coin. I do think Super is going to get the rotation a bit later than these retail coins first. So if I were to bet on Gaming and Metaverse, uh category that are uh popular in 2021 these are the four i would bet on immutable decentral and sandbox axi again i know you're not gonna like this because if you've been in crypto for long you're gonna say why are you buying these like shitty coins i know they're shitty that's why they're popular to retail so that's it uh let me check my list a little bit see if i have anything In the game, oh yeah, Gala. Unfortunately... For the exact same reasons, Gala is going to be popular. Because Gala was popular in 2021 as this like decentralized steam, even though they're really, it's not. But Gala checks all the right criteria. Very low unit price, 3.5 cents to the previous all-time high, 22x away. listed on all major exchanges in the US and gaming coin that was popular in 2021. That's all you need. So I think the rotation is going to be first into kind of these five coins because they're retail friendly and then into our some of our good ones. Super, you know, the fair launch ones, XBorg, Seed World, what else do you have like Parallel Prime, Beam. These things are going to come later because they're more fundamental driven. Okay, and then lastly, we have the AI category. So when you think AI category, which altcoins are left over from 2021? Well, remember the current wave of AI coins, they didn't start until ChaffGPT really came up. in 2022. so there's kind of a delay there in 2021 bull run chachi bt wasn't a thing so instead you got to think of the coins that are focused on decentralized computing decentralized rendering decentralized storage things like that so that's why render i think it's going to be Very easy bit. So in my opinion, render the graph. These ones listed on US exchanges. And again, render is like the default decentralized GPU coin, decentralized rendering network. You have the graph, decentralized data network. I also have, for example, Helium. Helium, HNT, people are going to say this is AI, or it's not AI. Ultimately, Helium is decentralized mobile, decentralized hotspots. IoT, right, these are the keywords that preceded the AI slash deepin narrative that we saw got popular in 2022. So in order for us to fully go into the more niche and fundamental driven AI coins like BitTensor, like Near, you first have to go through this like old legacy version of what deepin is, which is like IoT. decentralized computing, decentralized storage. I'm gonna put Filecoin here as precursor to AI. I'm gonna do a couple more here. ICP, unfortunately, should get popular. Theta was very popular in 2021 because Theta was heavily supported by the YouTube co-founder. Very heavy push in US audience. Made a big splash for themselves in 2021. these are the ones that I have on here. Yeah, so before you go into stuff like Akash and rweave, right, Akash AKT, rweave, right, bit tensor, before you go into these ones, what's going to happen is you first have to have this 2021 wave of retail coins first pop. So unfortunately, right, it's going to be these first. So you can argue with me if you want, like, oh, these coins are not strong. I know. they will catch a bit first because retail audience, they remember these coins, but they do not remember our version of what AI coins are, which we know only started in 2022. So you got to make that distinction. Doesn't fit in here, but I do think has a space for itself in this whole category is going to be Chainlink. Chainlink is one of those legacy coins. You could say it's DeFi, you could say it's Infra, you could say it's legacy. I just know that Chainlink at some point is going to pop because similar to XRP, XLM, Cardano, it has such a loyal fan base since 2017 and 2021, it also popped. So at some point that Like Link Marine Army is going to come back up and they're going to be in Sapporo Bill again. I remember when I was making videos on TikTok in 2021. Every time I talk about some other coins, people are going to comment and say, why are you buying all this bullshit? The only one coin you need is Chainlink. Just like the same people that say so for XRP. The only one coin you need is SRP. The only one coin you need is Cardano. At some point, Chainlink is going to have that. retail audience wave. And when you show your aunties at Thanksgiving, you tell them, oh, like XRP, Cardano, you tell them Chainlink, they will have heard of Chainlink. So even though Chainlink hasn't popped yet, I think it's worth looking at right now. I don't plan to hold it in my long-term portfolio because I honestly don't know how much upside it can have. But you don't want to write it off right now. DeFi is not popular. Crosschain is not popular. Infra is not popular. That's kind of why Chainlink is not popular right now. But I wouldn't be surprised if they do something completely out of the ordinary in this cycle. So let's see. I wouldn't write off Chainlink. I just don't have it in my portfolio. But if we are catching this short-term wave, I think Chainlink probably will have some retail bidding happening quite soon. so that's my list right here uh layer ones you want to target these ones first gaming you want to target these ones first ai slash decentralized computing you want to target these ones first and then don't forget chain link that's it uh these are the retail audience rotation coins coming from our category of criteria of these nine criteria what the retail audience tend to look at and we also went into what coins are available on robinhood and the ones that are trading on coinbase and i gave you my personal opinion on which coins that i know are still pushing and have made a big splash in 2021 people still remember these are the ones that your everyday audience are going to go into first. Okay, so pay attention to these ones over the next couple of weeks. Let's see how this plays out. If the wave continues, And more and more people come in and they see XRP pump, Cardano pump, Stellar pump. They're going to go into these coins. That's what I'm betting on. I think this is a pretty good list. I'm very happy with this. I have positioned myself, albeit short term, in a lot of these after I have sold a lot of the trench meme coins. I played that pretty well on Twitter. I played a lot of trades over the past few weeks. But I think... That wave is probably over. If Bitcoin pushes over 100K, we're going to have a full inflow of new retail coming in. And that's very good. You don't want to overthink this. Buy the retail coins for the next few weeks to a month. And then let's reconvene and see where it leads us to next. That's it. Okay, before I go, two things you should follow me on for more alpha. Number one, make sure to follow me on X at virtualbacon0x.
